Hey ladies!! I hope you are having a good start to your week!! I recently sent out a message to get feed back on what we would like to see discussed in this group, and this is week are going to discuss encouragement and inspiration. Heres the scenerio: If you know of a woman who is out of work due to health issues, or maybe depressed because she is not working and although she may love being at home with her kids may feel as though she is not contributing to society what would you say to them?? what about a woman who is being abused but is afraid to say anything to any one, because she is afraid of her husband? The woman who may be apart of this group who is struggling financially and is at wits end?
I realize we really don't know much about the rest of the ladies in our group which is a shame. So, I would like it if this week we could comment on this topic, but also if we could take the time to introduce ourselves and tell everyone a little about us. Not the warm and fuzzy stuff that we usually tell people, but the truth behind the facade. What areas in your life could you use prayer? I am also looking for another administrator for this group who would specifically handle bi-weekly prayer req. updates. It would have to be someone who can commit to updating the group to everyone's prayer req. and would also be willing to post a conversation if a prayer req. is so urgent or if God touches them by one of the prayer req. they feel the need to seperate that prayer from the rest and bring it to everyone's attention. I am really hoping to have a great turn out this week on the TOTW.. we do have woman who need the encouragement, and I feel that we owe it to them, as a community of Christian mom/women to help each other!
