Hello!

I'm DaLynn, stay at home, homeschooling mom to three boys ages 10, 6, and 5 years. And, I'm a Cubmaster for our local scout pack. It's a brand new unit based out of the local elementary, and we moved to the area in April with scouting experience. We're excited about it!

Though the pack itself is new, we are not new to scouting. I have a brother two years older than my oldest son, and we let him attend starting then. So we've been in scouting since 2 years before my oldest was allowed to register officially! He's a Sr Web now, so that makes it almost 7 years. My dad was in until he was 17, and we've always been well aware of the values of scouting.

My oldest will cross over to Boy Scouts in February, and my youngest will join the cubs in January. So, right now I have a Sr. Webelos, a Tiger, and one who'll be a Tiger next year. Come spring break I'll have a Boy Scout and two Tigers!

In addition to homeschooling the boys and being cubmaster, my husband and I will be trying to conceive (hopefully a girl this time) after Thanksgiving. So life is busy - and I'd not have it any other way!

Nice to meet you all!

Hi, my son just started cub scouts. He is a Tiger cub and I'm the den leader. I work at a childcare center as a teacher. I have 4 years experience in childcare. This is my first experience with cub scouts and I have enjoyed it. I also have a one year old girl and I'm looking forward to daisy's, brownies and girl scouts with her.
