Thinking of you!

[deleted account] ( 16 moms have responded )

Hey ladies! We have a lot of court dates this month (both on this community and on the regular stepmom's community) so I thought I'd start a new topic where we can post encouraging words for each person's date.

Today is Megan Canales! Good luck Megan! We're thinking of you hun!!!

I'm on the "regular" step moms community (here's a link http://apps.facebook.com/circleofmoms/gr...)

I think it's also the biggest one, but I'm not too sure... They girls on there can get a little b****y sometimes (especially toward the bm's in their situations), but I ignore those comments and I have met some wonderful women who I enjoy talking to!

Thanks again Holly, you're a gem ;) Which stepmoms community are you on? I would be interested in joining too.

Okay, I have my dayplanner in front of me and the next court date I have is Katie Nutting on Friday, November 20th. I can't remember if she's a member of this community as well as the step moms community, but it never hurts to know who needs those thoughts and prayers!

Keep letting me know as you get those court dates, and also let me know if you know of anyone else's I may not have already! :)

Keep up the positive thoughts ladies! :)

Okay, I heard form Meghan. She says her court date got postponed at the last minute and the new date isn't until mid-February! How frustrating! Meghan needs all our thoughts and support right now ladies!!! She is fighting such a rough battle!

I'll post again tomorrow to let you guys know who's next when I have my dayplanner (it's in the car and I am already late with bathtime to post this..).

I sent Meghan a pm yesterday asking how things went for her and I haven't heard back. I'll let you guys know when she replies. :)

We need to wait for the order to come back from the court - then I can schedule a time. While I am a pro-active individual and like to get things done with right away, he will probably wait until the last possible minute. oh well - his problem. :)

All three of us - myself, our son and the Ex. I really don't have a problem with doing the eval, I have nothing to hide and am a pretty balanced individual (I can acknowledge my problems and work on fixing them) it will be interesting to see what happens with my ex. The key for me is getting in there before him so I can make sure that the evaluator knows that he is a funcitonal alcoholic and I personally think he has borderline personality disorder. But I am truly not worried - The ex has to jump through so many hoops just to see our son and I don't think he will do that - he has never been good at followup and paperwork.

Who will be undergoing the eval Hannah? Hopefully some good will come out of that?

Has anyone heard fromMeghan how she went?

Things went well. I am comfortable with the results (nothing is ever perfect) I just had to laugh - I was there by myself with my lawyer of course. My ex showed up with his parents AND his new girlfriend in tow. I really wanted to go up to her and say "honey don't get too attached - he is already on match.com looking for someone else!" but of course I restrained myself.

Nonetheless- I did get the items that were really important to me. The whole thing will be revisited sometime in the spring after everyone undergoes a pyschological evaluation.

Who's up next Holly? and when?
