OMG I freaking hate the age thing!!!!! I have a 4.5 year old and a 17 month old and I will be 26 in September. I get the so you were what 17 when you had your first? NO ASS MONKEYS I was 21 and had been married for almost 3 years when I had him. Not that is any of their damn business anyways but man that pisses me off. Or Do they have the same dad???? Yes but why the fuck is it any of your concern?

My son is 10mo, and by now I'm used to "How does he sleep?" (though it's a bit annoying).

But the question I'm so sick of is "What does he eat?"

My very helpful mother (and I mean that sincerely) kept asking me when my 2 yr old was sick and crying, "what does he need?"--"what can we do for him?" like I knew and was listening to him cry for the fun of it.

I hate whenever I am out with my 2 month old daughter and my thirteen year old daughter and people assume or ask if the baby is mine or my daughters! I mean I know kids are having babies young ( as I had my first at 18), but geez! Besides all that I am only 32, I'm not grandma age yet! LOL

I had a caesar with this baby and people are like "are you going to have another one straight away" der fred you're supposed to wait 2 years before even trying. so NO. and it will be more likely 5 years before i even think about another kid. 2 is ENOUGH to put up with all day long.

My most recent bug-bear is M.I.L asking if we're having any more. No, we (me n him indoors) discussed it before we started trying, and we decided 2 was enough. We have a boy and a girl so we're not 'missing out' we don't 'need to try again' >:( Then she asks about birth control ( I'm on the implant with oral pills to regulate my periods, so no chance of 'mistakes') not that I tell her that! I told her once (I was feeling baaad) that I make him take it out and wipe it on the curtains. :)

Luckily I haven't personally heard most of the ten list, but I do hate that since I have a daughter everyone assumes I am hoping this one is a boy. People are shocked when I say I don't care. I hope that none of my family would bother to ask about breastfeeding. It was past a year with Kady so why would it be different for the second kid?

Holly, while I was in hospital for my induction the midwife actually looked at my hubby and asked if he was my boyfriend, no we're married (and are coming up to our 5 year anniversary) - at hearing this she then exclaimed 'oh well how old are you?' to my hubby - he is 27 (coming up to 28 in Oct) - he does look really young (late teens) though especially when he is clean shaven lol.

I have had sooooo many people say to me oh you have your hands full - during my pregnancy they would ask if baby was my first, no I have a son, then when they found out he would be 20 months when baby was born (he was actually 19 months because she was 3 weeks early) they give the hands full repsonse - my response to that it'll be hard work for a couple of years but parenting is never easy regardless of when you have your kids.

I have had enough of the you've got the perfect pair you don't need anymore - well one after my pregnancies it would be irresponsible to have any more, two that wouldn't change if I'd had two boys, we were just happy to have any children at all and three what the hell has it got to do with anyone else (other than me and my hubby)! grrrrrr

The fnal one that made me laugh rather than annoyed me was my BIL's response when he found out I intended trying bf again - well that's just not normal...er it's actually the most normal natural thing ever (he was serious as well).

I always hated it if my infant cried when someone else held her and they would say "i guess she doesn't like me"...gah, and breastfeeding comments were constant. Extended breastfeeding seems to truly perplex some people!

Oh yeah the breastfeeding comments are great...I breastfed my oldest for a year and here are a few comments I got from relatives when I had my youngest...these are people that know me well...

"Oh, you are going to try that this time around?"
"What kind of bottles are you using?"
"Oh, you are nursing this time? How long will you go? A few months?"
And my favorite when I asked for my daughter back so I could nurse her, "I guess that's my cue to leave."

Oh, and spoiled baby comments get under my skin. Babies cry. It doesn't mean they are spoiled. So have a good day. =)

when I was pregnant with our last we would here stuff like I hope this is your last one. Here we are grown up adults married he is working with a great paying job where I can stay at home and raise kids and I here from the older community to stop having babies yes this was our 4th but this would set me off in tears the other thing that now I laugh at now my younger 2 are 10 months apart yes I said 10 months apart and they are mine where ever we go people come up and say oh look at the twins aren't they cute and they always think the youngest who was 3lbs 10 oz at birth was the older twin and the now 2 1/2 year is the younger twin . I see there and just smile cause I am done explain to strangers any more its to ugggggggggg!

where do i start..i hate being asked when am i due...yeah i am over wieght and i have pcos that helps keep it there and i had my daughter only 7 mths ago so its hard to get the weight off....i am only 24 and my husband is 26 people ask me if my husband is my 4 yr olds older brother because he looks 12 when he shaves his beard...i hate it when he shaves!! the most annoying lately is u are done now! not asking if i am done having kids but saying that because i have a son and a daughter that the only thing left for me to do is to stop having kids because i have the perfect family already and to have more is crazy but i keep telling every one we are having at least 1 or 2 more because both me and my husband wanted 3 or 4 kids then they say my gosh ur some brave...or how about when my son hit 1 yr old everybody started sayin that we needed to have more..i will have more when i am ready..then there are the questions like it ur baby a good baby...or u shouldn't let ur kids eat that...or ur going to spoil them etc,etc...

Not that we were upset she was a girl, but we were hoping for two boys then two girls. So annoying everyone assumes everyone wants only two and always one of each. How boring is that!

My MIL cried when we announced that we were getting married. You can imagine how she reacted when we announced we were pregnant. Then when we had a second one, my sister in law even cried. Great support system. I love his family. LOL

Yeah, just take my baby girl back because I'm so terribly disappointed in her...and why should YOU be disappointed that I have a girl...and why is it imperative that I have a boy?

We were only chatting about this lastnight.Myself and my hubby to be lol.He remined me when our six year old came home and said"mom, you look more like my sister than my mom"We said "why do you think that" our daughter said"my friend asked is that your sister" lol.

I was engaged while pregnant and my fingers were swollen so I couldn't wear my ring, and cause I look young (I constantly get told I look 16/17 I'm 24) I'd get asked if my baby's father is still with me. I worked in retail so EVERY customer would ask me when I'm due, I was tempted to wear a samwhich board at one point!
My son has curly hair, I would dress him up in boys clothes (Hoodies with cars printed all over it) yet I would still get asked "is it a girl or a boy" that used to piss me off!

What about "It sounds like he's hungry, you better fix him a bottle." From strangers! Oh it's so nice that after hearing him fuss one time you know his cry better than his own mom does. Here I was rocking and shushing him because I thought he was tired. I should make him a bottle and forget nursing him when he's hungry.

My favorite: "You must be a proud grandma. WTF I'm the mom." Okay so I am 40 and my daughter who they think is the mom is 16 and is a very nurturing and motherly big sis, and yes many of my friends and former classmates are grandparents so I guess I could understand that, but then again, who has the dark circles under her eyes from lack of sleep, who has the comb and go hairstyle. One look at my daughters well rested face and styled hair and cloths should tell you that she can't be a mom to a little one. Oh and are you aware that you have given my family another thing to make fun of. This will be good for at least 6 months. (It's happened so often, my daughter is keeping score)

When people look at my two they always ask if they are twins. They are 17 months aprat and my son towers over my daughter although she is a very good talker. Obviously they are not twins, my son looks like a proper little boy and my daughter still looks like a baby.
The other thing that annoys me is when people comment on how much my two look alike. They don't, he is the spitting image of my hubby and she looks like me. Yes there are similarities becuase they are siblings but they aren't that alike

After my second was born every one kept telling me "Wow a pigeon pair perfect at least you don't need to have anymore" WTF seriously? Yep mmhmmm i only had the second so it was boy.....
Yesterday i had to go out to get antibiotics for my 3yr old. He was dressed in pants and a long sleeve shirt, it's winter and freezing, and the amount of looks i got because of how little he was wearing really pissed me off. Seriously why don't you just ask or say something other then just giving me a dirty look. Although if they had asked i doubt the reason would have come off sounding any better.

LOL!!! I've had number 8 more times than i would like!! Esp coz although obviously I'm bigger all over than before kids, it's mainly my belly! The other one I HATE is '"He's 2?? OMG he's so SKINNY!!!" in relation to my son- always makes me feel like they're saying I dont feed him enough! Yes, he IS quite skinny BUT he's also very tall (not far behind my 5 yr old) and will probably be built like Tim Robbins when he's an adult.
