I love horror movies and I think what I'd find most frightening is if Samara off The Ring Really did come out of our TV!!!

Boys eh? We had our 10 year anniversary about 6 weeks after our baby was born so it was the first movie we'd gone to for awhile and what did we see? Zombieland. Talk about romantic! LOL (though I did enjoy it)

I have a thing for aliens and ghosts. After watching fourth kind I didn't want to see an owl for weeks. After watching Paranormal Activity I was afraid to go pee alone. Which was terrible, I really had to pee. Those are the most recent one that actually freaked me out momentarily. But it's the season, so we'll see what gets me over the next couple months.

What can i say? i'm a sucker for zombie flicks and bad acting! Yeah, i'm a Milla Jovavich fan. I'm not sure why? :/ I think she has an interesting look i guess.

Nah, I'm not into those movies, even remotely lol besides the fact that Milla Jovovich's acting only seems to get WORSE and her voice is seriously irritating... (I used to love her... anyone remember The Blue Lagoon?) I've seen bits and pieces of the other Resident Evil movies, and I change the channel :\

My boyfriend on the other hand, he was totally stoked to see the new one cause he can watch the previous movies in rotation forever... he loves them... and he was disappointed by it too. He said we should have went to see Eat Pray Love or Going The Distance instead... and that says a lot cause he usually just sleeps through those kind of movies lol

Yes, the Strangers scared the shit outta me! @Jo, you have got to check out the other Resident Evils. They are awesome and I couldn't wait to see the newest but your reviews kinda bum me out :( Oh well maybe I will like it. :)

@Jennifer, that was the first Resident Evil movie I've seen... I only went cause Devon wanted to see it and we had a baby sitter, so I wasn't going to complain about going out for a couple hours lol

Zombieland was hilarious. Bill Murray made a lovely zombie haha


The only "monsters" that scare me, are the real life kinds.... serial killer and psycho killer movies scare the crap outta me. Especially the movies that have the 'it could happen to anybody' story lines.

God Send was about a little boy who died and his parents use his genes to create another son. The boy is about to be the age he was the first time he died. It was really creepy and had a great ending

You know speaking of the Ring and the Grudge... I honestly wasn't a big fan... Paranormal Activity (i guess i had higher hopes) I was disappointed in... Ghost movies just don't do it for me... I guess cause i find them a bit over the top of what i would think an actual haunting would be like.

Holy Crap... What scares me are the Devil or Demons kind of movies. The Exorcist SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME. I also CAN NOT watch The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Where there bodies contort into unimaginable ways and speak with different voices. OMG I can't deal. Other movies like Poltergeist give me the willies too. Other movies I can handle. When I was a kid Freddy freaked me out no it's kinda of ridiculous; although, the idea of it is kinda creepy.

Anika, I'm kind of like you.. I'm a sucker for all those little tricks that they throw in to heighten the suspense, even if the concept of the movie isn't all that frightening...
Oh, and I saw Zombieland.. I thought it was hilarious while I was watching, but then I had nightmares the next night... I have no clue why. :(

Oh god, Anika. What Lies Beneath scared the SHIT out of me.

I'm not scared of zombie movies or anything like that. I'm more like Teresa in that the movies that scare me are the ones where it's real people doing the killing.

That being said, that awful clown doll from "Poltergeist" gave me nightmares for years -- I refused to sleep on my side for about 10 years after that, because I could just picture that fucking clown creeping up on me.

It's not the actual creatures that freak me out, it the whole suspenseful music and then sudden appearance of things that get me. When my husband and I saw "What lies beneath" I actually drew blood squeezing his arm tightly! LOL. I especially hate when you're looking at something which is supposed to be dead and then their eyes open real quick *shudder* Freaks me out

so I went to see the awfully lame Resident Evil After Life movie tonight......... ugh.......... since when did zombies grow an extra mouth that comes out of their human mouth?????????? Zombies can be scary but now when they apparently have been breeding with Aliens and turning into half zombie half alien creatures... they lose the scary factor and turn into stupid!

The movie sucked... so bad... so very bad. The ONLY good thing about that movie was the soundtrack.

Zombies too, they just touch something inside me, I think it's that they still look human but are completely taken over. I'm part of a couple groups on FB that are about Zombie Apocolyse Preparedness, not sure if it fuels the fear or not lol but they are fun.

I'm actually more afraid of shark movies though.

If you guys find the Ring scary, try watching the origional Japanese version, the re-make is not a patch on it, truly terrifying.

To me Vampires are sexy and Mr Skaarsgarg features in my dreams for completely different reasons lol

It's not the supernatural stuff that scares me so much (anyone see 'Zombieland'? Funny shit), but what freaks me out is movies where they're trapped somewhere and something is after them. Like "Alien". *shudder*. I HATE those. Urgh, makes me feel claustrophobic just thinking about it.

Honestly the only movie hat ever scared me was Copycat , i still to this day am terrified to go to a public toilet alone i have to check all the cubicles but thats a psycho person not supernatural , i guess the creepy Japanese chick from the ring was a bit scary .

But i love all things horror and supernatural ever since i was a kid so i guess im a little desensitized .

Zombies only freak me out if there is a reason for them to be that way.. Like in the movie "Quarantine". THAT was scarey!!! But some zombie movies are just dumb.

I dont know what it is but every time i hear that weird noise from the grudge i feel sick. I am terrified of infirri (dont know how to spell it) but they are dead bodies that have been controlled by dark wizards in harry potter, the thought of those things just freaks me out!

I physically hurt watching movies like Hostel and Saw. I don't even try to watch movies like that anymore. There was a video game that actually scared the crap out of me called "F.E.A.R." I never played it, but my brother would make me stay in the room while he played it because even he was scared to play it alone....sissy.lol Had to do with a child ghost/zombie going around a multi story office building killing people and you'd occassionally see someone's body pulled into the ceiling, the lights would flicker, and she would come after you...yeah, I'm creeped out just thinking about it. :P

I had nightmares for about a week over The Ring! I could imagine that girl walking down my hallway when I was in bed :D



I REALLY liked 30 Days of Night. It scared the shit outta me because those vampires were superhuman and ran really fast! Creepy! Loved the movie though.



My brother was sooooo scared of The Blair Witch Project. Even when I bring up the movie, he freaks out. HAHA! I just thought it was annoying!

I must be a glutton for punishment because I watch these movies, although I don't watch world ending ones because they do not scare me in a good way.

I am amazed how many people here think the ring is scary, I thought it was really funny. I suppose it goes to show how different everyone is because I bet most of them laugh at films that terrify me.

Child's play gave me the creeps and Stephen Kin "IT" my god, I have never been able to look at clowns the same way, child's play also ruined a good part of my childhood, I had to get rid of all my dolls after I watched this secretly at a friends when I was little! Most recently the ring scared the begeezers out of me, I refuse to watch horror movies any more, prefer to live in ignorant bliss!

Toni, I love end of the world movies. Even the cheesy ones. They are pretty scary.
Don't get me wrong guys... I LOVE zombie movies because they scare me. Think that's kinda the point of the whole horror genre. They give me nightmares but they're... well... sorta fun? Does anyone else enjoy getting the piss scared out of them? I guess that's why we like horror movies, rollercoasters, haunted houses, real-life ghost stories etc. something in us likes to be scared to an extent. I would never say I believe one day we may turn into zombies, that ghosts exist, people get posessed by demons, or secret wearwolf/vampire societies exist.... but it's so kick ass when a film can convince you "it could happen" even if it's just for the duration of the movie or during a nightmare.

The only scary movies that freak me out are about the supernatural (like aliens and ghosts) because it's so unknown...Slasher Serial Killer Flicks just don't freak me out anymore....But The Ring gives me those hide under the covers kinda feeling everytime.

I'm with you I really hate zombies, I know it wasn't supposed to be a horror but I find I am Legend really scary and my hubby loves it (damn him he keeps trying to make me watch it again).

I also find things where we (the human race) are killed off by ... quite scary because I believe that one day we will cause our extinction (or near to extinction as the movies always have a few humans left) and disaster movies where the world ends again not a horror but The Knowing was terrifying I had nightnares for weeks about the ending, which is why I do not watch films I know will have the world ending or nearly ending (the Knowing conned me!)

I love Zombie movies and I cant wait for a new series on the AMC channel on cable they are doing a Zombie series based off of a comic book it is coming out on Oct. 31st. I like watching Werewolves but I do have nightmares of people changing into one. But I still watch them!

Nothing now, but when I was younger it was Freddie Kruger from the nightmare on elm street movies (the old ones). they freaked me out. And Stephen King's "Thing" movie.
But now I don't watch stupid horror and I don't like to watch anything that is reality based cause that is what sends me off into anxiety land. lol
No missing children, no abuse, no stalkers and serial killers etc.

i don't have a supernatural thing that i'm afraid of-well deathly afraid of- poltergeists or ghosts kinda freak me out. my fears lie more in the realistic catagory. if i'm watching a movie about ghosts i get scared, but if i'm watching forensic files, or a movie about jeffrey dahmer, or the green river killer- i freak the fuck out. an actual serial killer is something that scares the shit out of me.

I think zombies are ridiculous and I despise zombie movies. I don't find them scary at all. They actually bore the hell out of me and I find them more annoying than anything. I get nightmares from scary movies but never from a zombie movie. They just seem corny to me and no matter how serious they try to be, it still comes off as comedy to me.

Oh God! :( I hate those dreams the most!!!! I seriously have never experienced more frightening dreams than after i had my son. Nightmares where I lose him or something bad happens to him are just heart-wrenching and unbelievably painful.

I am with you on the zombie thing. I have an actual terrifying fear of them. Even thinking about them- shhhhhhuuuuuuudddddddddeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr. I can't even watch my husband play a PS3 game featuring zombies. That actually scares me.

I also have a reoccurring dinosaur dream where they are chasing me. I spend the whole dream hiding. I blame Jurassic Park.
