1 - I love pretty much all Christmas songs, but I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus is definately one of my favourites as is Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby.

My favourite carol is Good King Wenceslas and I saw three ships.

2 - I'm really not sure on my best gift, I truely love the atmosphere of Christmas and spending time with family and friends.

3 - My MIL holds a Boxing day party every year and everyone in our family, and their in-laws come round, we eat, drink and play games it is a lovely family tradition and I am so pleased I get to be part of it. It'll be even better this year because Ethan can run around and cause trouble with his cousins :-)

2. I thought I heard santa clause and I was going to go look but I was afraid he'd disappear. At the time it was quite magical, because I busted santa lol. So that experience, was the best gift.

Also Do they know it's Christmas ... the original version. I have a great memory of my non verbal eldest as a toddler singing "feed the world" over and over.
Two more, Slade - Merry Christmas Everybody and Wizard- I wish it could be Christmas everyday.

2. When I was 13 my grandparents bought me canvas, paints, brushes, easel, and all other supplies I needed to paint! I love it. Still use some of the stuff today.



3. As an adult. I still go decorate my moms tree with my younger siblings. We make a day of it.



Something I enjoyed as a kid was going Christmas shopping for Toys For Tots (A charity that collects toys for needy children, ran by the Marine corps) Our parents would take us to the store and let us pick out toys and then we would take them to the donation site. I plan on doing this with my kids. It really teaches an important lesson on charity.

Liz there is a small tree that Wal Mart usually has around this time of year. I can't remember what it is called but my mother is also allergic to a lot of trees and this particular tree was the only one that wouldn't make her sick.

1. Silver bells is my favorite Christmas song! It's just so beautiful and to me expresses the theme of Christmas!
2. The most amazing Christmas gift I ever received was a dressing table that my papaw made me out of cedar wood. It's beautiful and it is so special to me because he made it with his bare hands for me. Plus my hope chest that he made me, also made out of cedar.
3. My most cherished Christmas tradition was when I was younger and we would go to my stepmother's parents' house in Arkansas. The yard would be beautifully decorated and the Christmas tree would be put up and looking so wonderful. I used to love going up there and just sit in the living room and look at the tree. The house was so warm and full of love and joy.

I think my favorite gift as a child was a pair of roller blades, and my very first guitar and also a Ariel from the little mermaid towel:) And my most cherished tradition was hanging out with my family on christmas eve and watching christmas movies and drinking egg nog.

1) Mmmmm not to sure i like all christmas songs. I like modern songs more i think jingle bell rock though would top them all, but only just.
2) There isn't anything that really jumps out at me.
3) Chrsitmas day with the family. Opening presents 1st thing chrsitmas morning and the youngest usually is santa. This year it will be my 2 yr old son!

2. My husband proposed December 22, 2004. We were skiing with friends in Colorado, it was beautiful.



3. I love going to get the tree. It's the first "official" holiday activity. There is a HUGE tree farm on the outskirts of our town, so we always go there and cut our own (people drive for hours to come to this particular tree farm, crazy). Then we drink hot chocolate and go on a hay ride. When we get home, we put on "Muppet's Christmas Carol" and watch it while decorating. I know, it's a classy movie to start the holiday season with..lol! We've done the same exact thing for as long as I can remember, and now I insist on doing it that way with my family. We actually got our tree just today. =)



The other favorite tradition would be my dad reading Luke 2 on Christmas Eve. Now that I'm all grown up we don't see my parents on Christmas Eve anymore. But I always read it on my own.

1. Last Christmas by Wham! (laugh away people, I know I'm a dork) and Feliz Navidad by Charles Aznavour (sp?)

2. My Granny died 3 days before Christmas when I was alone with her at the hospital. Just before she passed, she told me to look in her closet for my gift. It was a little stuffed puppy that she'd made me, but it wasn't quite finished. Definitely my most cherished gift.

Second to that was the purse my hubby gave me. It was amazing because it was exactly what I'd wanted, and he did all the shopping himself and it was super stylish. I am still amazed that he demonstrated such excellent taste in purses. Thanks Queer Eye!

3. Going to the Stanley Park Christmas Train with the whole family. Hot Chocolate, all the Firefighters who are fundraising also heat it up ;-) and it is just so beautiful.

2) My girls. They were born 12 days before Christmas, but have still been the best 'Christmas gift'.
3) We go to our church's HUGE Christmas Eve service every year. I just love it. Can't explain it any better than that. :)

I love Grandma got run over by a reindeer.

Last year my kids picked their favorite pictures and put the in a big frame for me, it was perfect.

All six of us kids would wake each other up and jump on my parents early christmas morning which always turned into a big pillow fight. Then we would make them breakfast in bed because we knew they were up half the night getting everything ready.

Oh god, I can't pick just one carol! Though my favorite Christmas CD is the Boney M one. I always have it on. =)

I suppose my son could be considered my best Christmas gift. He was conceived around Christmas. Second though would be the new house my husband and I just bought. He says it's my Christmas present and I'm fine with that! LOL!!

My best memories are our traditions, which I am passing onto our children. Decorating the house, baking treats, the big supper, carols, playing in the snow and family all around. There is nothing better than the entire family together and I can not wait for next Christmas! We will be in our new home then and it won't be like sardines in a tin can with everyone over. =D

1. santa claus is back in town-elvis preseley (can't get enough of it, lol) amore traditional one is oh holy night. love it!
2. the one i remember the most was my cabbage patch doll. i was in heaven, lol! we got done opening gifts and i was happy, but a little disapointed, then my dad told us to go to his room to get him something, and on the bed were our cabbage patch dolls. i almost shit with glee, LMAO!!
3. christmas tradition?? well, we didn't really do anything special i guess. we just always opened presents on christmas eve, ate dinner that night as well. we always make a drink called tom and jerry. it's hot frothy egg whites and sugar and brandy. topped with nutmeg. my dad would occasionally let us have a sip with the brandy, but it was usually without, of course. my husbands family makes grasshoppers. ice cream with creme de menthe, and creme de cacao. yummy!! that's something that we always look forward to for some reason when we go there. his grandma always makes calanders with pictures she's taken throughout the year. shes a picture hound! so we always know that we'll have a calander, lol!
