Jodi - that Three Martini Playdates looks actually a good read ... I really wish some people would just tell there kids "no" and be firm about it.

I think these books are great. I would get more if I had the money honestly, but I don't. But I have a sick twisted sense of humor...

Those are hilarious! We have a dinosaur book that someone bought our son. It's called 'Ten little dinosaurs' and you read if as if you were telling the story of '10 little monkeys jumping on the bed'. Anyhow, here a few excerpts from the book.

Five little dinosaurs playing in the street, Ankylosaurus yelled, "A car to beat!"

He charged the street: squeal, screech, bleet, spleet,

No more dino-tanks playing in the street.

One little dinosaur walking all alone,

the sun burnt Triceratops into dried-up bones.

"Look," called the scientist, "at all those fossil stones."

No more three-horns walking all alone.

No more dinosaurs hanging on the brink.

They all disappeared in a geologic wink.

The doctor cried, "Well this just stinks!"

Poor little dinosaurs all extinct.

Such a lovely board book, wouldn't you say....

Ooh, found it on Amazon. Lucky for your kids, as you can see here, it has big googly eyes that wiggle and move when you shake the book. ;)
