Jodi The weather is beautiful outside. We missed the storms and just got a good down poor that lasted about an hour which took the heat out. Just having a rough time atm and would love to escape.

We went on a FABO FABBBO trip last year for 11 weeks with the kids to Switzerland and France mostly staying with relatives. It was so much more fantastic than I could have imagined - the mountains were beautiful, the museums and castles and ruins fascinating... life itself was so different. Never a dull moment. The kids were very excited about everything and since coming back my 8 year old is always saying how he just wants to go back to Europe and life is too boring here.

I've always wanted to see Ireland/Scotland as two favs but would also love to take my daughter back to Canada to see the Rockies again( miss them so much) and all my family!!! As for Australia drowning and being blown away I've been smack bang in the middle of it all so ya we could use a break lol!!!!!!

My mom and dad are taking our whole fam on a cruise to Alaska and Canada for their 40th wedding anniversary...I CAN'T wait for that...I'd also LOVE to see Ireland, Athens, Rome, London...Just about anywhere really...I LOVE to travel...

I have so many places still on my list I can't name them all. We'll get there eventually. We just got back from New Zealand (our second trip there) and I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Loureen, my parents are off to Brazil this year I think (maybe it's next years trip, I'm not sure). Those two have travelled to so many places, they inspire me :) I imagine they are considering themselves lucky at the moment, because they did Egypt late last year, before all the shit started.

I dont know about visit, but i would love to live in a highrise in newyork city, or a house on the beach in florida. Other wise im fine where im at. I dont like traveling somewhere i have to fly. I hate flying.

Shannen you would enjoy it here it is a very beautiful country.
I have been Ireland, Portugal, Greece, Venice, Turkey, Dobrovnik, Thailand and Holland.
Would go back to Thailand and Ireland in a a heartbeat. Planning a trip to England for December to spend Christmas with my husbands brother. Actually I would love to see a lot more of South Africa and would like to look at Malta too.

I've been to the Carribbean including Jamaica it was the most breath taking scenes I have ever seen in all of my life. I would give my left arm to go back. *~*Memories*~* sigh

If I were single and didn't have a kid I'd want to go to egypt. Seriously. Pyramids are cool and all, but I want to see a revolution. I'd also like to see mexico, as well as several middle eastern countries, but am not willing to risk being beheaded. Soooo

Since I have a kid and am not single, I want to see everything in moderately *safe* countries. The UK, sweden, netherlands, spain, italy, greece, czech rep, Ideally I'd like to spend a year just wandering around all of europe and end it with a week in India or Tibet or something. I would encourage my son to do it when he's an adult though. I would have zero issue with him doing that between high school and college. I wish I had. There are a LOT of places I wish I could go.

The place I always wanted to visit was Hawaii. I'm living there right now and it's heaven.

Australia, New Zealand (I went for 2 weeks when I was 16 and I've been wanting to go back ever since!), Ireland (I want to rent a car and get lost in the country while staying in little bed and breakfast places), Scotland, England, Russia, Belgium (my hubby wants to see where his dad was born), India, my oh my... there are so many more too... I want to travel around the world through my life and I hope someday we can at least go to some of those places! :)

Since studying a lot on Russian history i must say thats one of my top places to visit second would be South Africa.
For a holiday where everything was laid on i'd have to say the Maldives.

I've always wanted to go to India. I don't know why, just because it strikes me as being so incrediably different. I've never been to Europe but I've felt it might be a little too similiar to the US for that to be first on my list.



That said, I was an exchange student in Peru and I stayed in Lima and went on an excursion to Cusco and Machu Picchu for a week and it was utterly amazing. I'd love love love to go back there and try to see the Nasca lines as well, or anywhere in South America, especially Argentina. But yeah, the people in Peru and my host family were so amazing and loving and my first night there they took me out dancing and for drinks (I was only 16 but there was no drinking age) and I never had so much fun in my life or met more friendly people. And btw, if you're blonde... the guys (who are some of the hottest guys on earth) go CRAZY for you! I swear to god I had the worst crush on this guy named Carlos who had PUPLE eyes. Real purple eyes, not contacts. Amazing.



And Africa. I always wanted to go on a Safari and see the animals in their natural habitat.

I'm glad to see others who loved Florence. I've talked to so many people who didn't like it. I think they didn't do it right or something. I LOVED Florence. More than I thought I would. I still think the best thing I saw in Italy was the Colosseum (that is hard to beat), but Florence has really cool character, especially if you wander off the beaten path a bit. Also I noticed a lot of the tourists go to bed too early. The magic happens midnight and later. Hehe. Maybe it's a good thing the tourists are mostly in bed.

I knocked the first two places off my bucket list this summer, Paris and Rome...(mwah Kati). I can't decide which I would like to see next, it's a dead tie between Eastern Europe (Berlin and Prague), the UK, Australia, and Asia. (is that the same as basically saying everywhere? cause I wanna go everywhere ;))

It'll probably be London or Australia next, cause my husband(ish) person lived in each for a year or so and loved them both sooooo...

Italy is GORGEOUS and I recommend Florence. For France I loved the Dordogne. Ever see all those castles in fairy tales? That's what the Dordogne region of France looks like. It's like walking around in a fairy tale. Just beautifully breathtaking everywhere.

i have always wanted to go to italy (laura i hate you btw), but once i went to hawaii in 09 i just don't know if any place could compare. i adored the scenery, the people and the spirit of hawaii. you just get a feeling when you are there. sooooo teresa, you can travel iowa, i'll stay at your place, we're wife swapping remember? hope you like corn and pigs....
