Yes, they can take everything.



I haven't registered my kids as that's their decision when they are older but if anything happened to them I would like to see something positive come out of a tragic situation, so I would allow them to be donors.

Yes. I live in Ontario, where you can register as an organ donor when you renew your provincial health insurance card or your driver's licence or by taking 3 minutes to register online with the Ministry of Health & Long-Term Care. My DH is registered as a donor also.



Dunno if any of our organs will be any good to anyone, but just in case...

Im a donor they can have everything but my eyes. I don't know why but i just donlt like the idea of not having them . I will also be cremated cos im scared of being buried a live.

This has made me think though cos iv'e never talked to my kids about it. I think i need to find out whst their wishes are.

I want to donate but they probably wouldn't take my organs. I'm listed as a donor and my husband knows I want to be a donor, too. If I croak and they want 'em they can have 'em.

The whole family are donors; it's in legal writings and known by outside family. We don't need the flesh and bone anymore so if anything can be reused by another than it's a much better thing than putting it in the ground; that seems so wasteful to us. I personally would take a transplant and would want one for my kids if they ever needed it but my husband does not believe in extraordinary measures so he would refuse even though he would gladly give anything of himself to another.

Yes, I am an organ donor. If my organs are medically worthy for transplant when I pass then by all means use them to save someone else's life.

I have a frail body with tons of problems, I wouldn't want anyone to have to suffer like I do, so no, I'm not a donor and I don't wish to have a transplant, give it to a young child who needs it, not me. My husband is an organ donor, but he only has a few broken bones and such, not many other health problems.

Yes, I am, they can take all they can use out of my body....just don't know with so much of it being in poor working order due to chronic illness, if they would want it.



Once I'm done, I'm done. If someone can take anything of mine and have a healthier life - have at it.

Part of me thinks if you wouldn't donate, you shouldn't get to receive. I'm guessing most people would take the new set of lungs if they needed them so why deny another that chance at life? But the non-vindictive side of me says people might change when faced with a new challenge like organ failure and everyone deserves a second chance.I happen to think that if I lost a child (omg) knowing that there was another child out there living with a piece of my child would actually help my grieving process. I saw this family on the tv who lost a son but as they said - his heart is still beating.

I most definitely am, except for skin. I would have done skin too but my husband didn't like the idea. We are both donors and so are my kids. My kids know about it and my daugher (13.5) is all for it. My son is only 17months, so he has no idea. ;)



I too hope we never have to donate any of our organs but if the dreadful time came, I am all for helping someone in need.



I am going to be cremated anyhow (spread over the Atlantic), so I am not sure why my husband doesn't like the skin part but meh, I have to keep him happy too. ;)

My driver's license shows that I am an organ donor. Also, my family knows my wishes. I want them to take what they want/need and cremate the rest since I won't be needing it anymore. Cremate me and either scatter me in the ocean (my preference) or scatter me under a newly planted tree. If I'm gonna take up real estate on this planet after I'm dead, at least let there be a tree there.
