I would like to alert you all to a spin-off of Debating Mums called DMG. DMG is a closed community that was created some time ago for our active members as a place where we could share non-debating, personal issues with eachother.



Since DM has grown quite a bit in recent months, we've decided to make a fresh start with DMG too and invite our new members to join DMG as well. However, it is a closed community and because the goal is for it to be a safe place for our members to share more personal stories, we ONLY allow members of DM who actively participate in the discussions on DM to join.

I was able to join but had problems with the link and finding "request to join" as well. But now I can get in, however it's not showing up under "my communities," I have to come here and click on the link you posted in here to get there.

I have sent a message to one of the COMs administrators with a link to this thread and asked her to have the technology people look into it. If anyone else is having issues, please post on here so they can see all the different issues people are having. Hopefully we can get this sorted out quickly. Sorry about the inconvenience!

I'm having the exact same thing as Dana, I would love to join though so if it get s sorted let me know, I'll keep trying as well. Wierd the way it's fine for some and not others, nevermind bloody computers never do what you want - thanks for the invite hope to be able to join soon.

I can't even see " request to join ".....all that comes up when I found it is a bunch of jumbled words.....I can click on NEW CONVERSATION in HUGE letters on the left top of the page....I can see the title and to the far right I see 123 members....and I can see the admin and mods down the left side but that's it....

Same thing is happening to me Dana... I can find it just fine, I click on "request to join" and it just sits there.

Dana - it's a closed community, but not a secret one, so a search should still yield results. I just searched for it again and it came up. This is a link to my search results. DMG is right at the top: http://www.circleofmoms.com/search.php?q...

Well, even thought the link looked like it didn't work, I just checked my profile and I'm now a member of the community, so it must have worked!

Ok, I give up....LOL! I can't find it in the community search list, I'm guessing because it's a private community?! Anyhow, I might be able to access it from your profile page Esther? This is my one last attempt....wish me luck! LOL!

That's so weird. I just clicked on it again above and it works just fine. Otherwise just do a search for DMG on COMs. It should come up.
