Two threads have been deleted if you are unaware of what threads I am referring to don't worry, for those of you who do PLEASE do not start another thread continuing what had been going on..if you do I will delete it...no questions asked no matter who starts it. RIGHT here and NOW it is done with and over with. The drama makes this community look bad it is a complete turn off. We have had an amazing community that has stood as the place for me and many others to come to in order to discuss things in an intelligent manner. Many of the other commnities are full of drama and that is why I stay out of them so lets keep this one drama free. If people were insulted or hurt in any way they need to personally deal with that in PM's to the people they are having issues with or to the moderators. Let's refrain from the name calling and MOVE ON..Please!

The whole ordeal was ridiculous and a huge waste of time...both responding and reading. Didn't know there was that kind of censorship in here though...honestly there wasn't much offensive about it...it was just very ignorant. Gotta say it's a little ironic that a heated "debate" got deleted in a "debating" group...lol

There's "debate" and then there's mudslinging.  Clearly, the deleted threads were of the latter.

Okay this thread was about cutting the bullshit out.  Let's not start more.

If it was a 'huge waste of time' then the fact that it's deleted shouldn't even be an issue.

Get thee to a vineyard, woman! You can get wine a LOT cheaper if you go straight to the source. You can often get some really great sales.

Well generally wine is NOT that cheap in the states.  It just happens that this kind is, it's good, which is why it's all the rave.

Hey - Trader Joe's just opened a store near me. Which wine?

Charles Shaw wines...they.....are......awesome. They used to be 2.00...now they are 3.99? Maybe even 2.99 still....not 100% sure....try it and lemme know what u think!

I don't drink (well, alcohol that is) but my parents are visiting soon & my husband does if he has someone to share the bottle with (i.e. my parents) so I'll let them try it. Thanks!

I think this is the wine they call Two Buck Chuck.  It's supposed to be a great wine.  I've yet to try it.

Okay, just googled.  Here's a link.

I dont think personal attacks and name calling qualify as debating. Just gotta say I myself had to have a glass of Davinci Chianti to keep myself from getting physically ill because of the huge amount of denial people have. Lying to yourselves doesnt make the truth go away. I love a good honest debate, not a good bitch feast. I hope you ladies have a wonderful day. :)

K....now it's TOO weird....I'm originally from Jersey (whassup, Benny?)     ;)

Krista _ I wouldn't move from that situation either.....maybe we'll all just pick a time to leave the kids home with the hubby's and meet somewhere like Vegas,( or Iris' house  ;)  ♥ ya, Iris!)

OR...... my "BFF" still has her condo in St Thomas - she grew up there....

I'm seeing a DM roadtrip sometime in the future!

ok - Imma have a few for Evelyn and watch  a movie with Toa.    It's turning into a really great night.

(((((HUGS))))) You ladies ROCK!

Jenn, I love Kaluha..I will have to give you my address. I have not had a drink in awhile since the hubby is in Korea and I am the designated parent 24/7, but I need one and I cannot wait till my hubby retires from the military, because we plan on rolling up a fatty when that happens.

I don't have a Trader Joes near me....Augusta, Georgia sucks, but we have an Earth Fare which has some great wine selections that are reasonably priced. The last bottle I bought there was last month, but alas it is gone. I need to pick up a bottle for next week I am going to need it seeing how I have my parents, my inlaws, my brother, my great grandfather, and my uncle all coming to my house for Christmas. Three days with family...well they can all take the kids and I am heading up to my room with a bottle of wine and I am reading my last two Black Dagger Brotherhood books..sexy vampire reading time!

Sounds lovely -- we just built our house last year, though, so I can't see the hubby being pleased at me proposing to haul up stakes.

Besides, Sam's grandparents live next door, they're non-intrusive, kind, and they babysit pretty much anytime we want. I'd be an idiot to move away.

My other fave "cheap" wines are Robert Mondavi's Private Selection anything...merlot...cabernet..etc..etc...and I LOVE the blackstone boxed merlot...I know...boxed...**gasp**...but trust me...try it...it's a bit pricey for boxed...about 25.99...but soooooo worth it.

Ravenswood  Merlot is very good, as is Smooking Loon ( I see a pattern here)......and if you can get a hold of a bottle -Stag's Leap Vintner's Blend is ONLY put out at Chrstmas - it's the best 59.99 you'll ever spend on a bottle of Merlot........it's SO worth the money.

Love the smoking loon....I think I may have had ravenswood can't remember right now...have to see the bottle lol....but Im definitely gonna try the stag's leap....I'm sure I can find it...we have so much wine here in NC it'll make ur head spin...aisles and aisles of it in EVERY supermarket. It's awesome.

Your tempting me. We don't really drink anymore since having the youngest 3 so close in age, just being too busy, not getting out anymore or when we try, it puts us to sleep now (sad), but I know I have Kahlua and Baileys in my cabinet. A 1000 calorie drink sounds really good.

Sweetie, have a drink!  You deserve it!

I was lmao when I went to the store, last summer. It's amazing, years ago, when our oldest would have sleepovers with family for the weekend, we would buy the really giant bottle of Kahlua 1.75 lt or something, a bottle of vodka, and that would be gone that night. Now, I go in and bought the small bottle, thinking wonder if we can even finish this now. It's over 1/2 full and we bought it for 4th of July.

I toned it down using almond milk, which is only 40 cal a cup and healthy, so if you are using coffee, that's 0 calories. Hmmm, how about the calories burned by the energy it takes to drink the 0 cal coffee burns off the Irish Cream?  That works.
