Do babies see spirits / ghosts / angels ?

I think they must. My 2 year old started screaming last night that there was a ghost in his room and it was caring him! I have never said the word ghost to him and he's at home with me all day. Even today he came running to find me saying someone was scary and wanted me to make them go away but there was no one there, this happened 3 or 4 times just today. I dont know what it is but i do think they are more connected to something at a young age.

Yes I believe they do. My son is always looking up at the ceiling when I am changing his diaper or when we are just playing and asks me what that is. I look up and there is nothing there. It's kinda creepy but as long as they are friendly I don't mind them. And I also believe in ghosts and spirits too. I've never seen any in our home now but the house I grew up in I did. My son is 2 1/2.

I will tell you right now, that children do see things....My girlfriend lost her youngest at 14 months old...her middle child told her things that would make t he hair stand up on your neck...her children did not know who Jesus was, but the night after her son past, her other child said that he saw his brother...he said he was with a man with long hair and wearing a dress...he than said the man said to him..."you're brother is okay, he's with me now." He was 4 at the time. One day her son and my son were talking in the back seat of my car, as he was telling my son that his brother had a girlfriend, they had their own cloud, she was wearing a pink dress and her name was Hannah. When I told my girlfriend this, she broke down and cried....she than told me that a dear friend of hers had just lost her daughter...that day, while her son was with me, she received a photo of the young girl...wearing a pink dress and her name? Jo Hannah...so yes, they see things and people that we adults often wish we could..

i do believe that babies and children are more likely to see spirits. I know when I was younger I did. I was about 16 when everything stopped. It is actually disappointing when it stops especially being so used to it. I would dream about what was going to happen a couple days later. I would see my cat walking around our house and she had died years earlier before we moved to the new house. I could feel when a spirit was near me and could tell if they were male or female by the feeling I would get.
My daughter often talks to someone but I do not see or feel their presence. I like to believe it is either my mother [her grandmother] or my great grandmother [her great great grandmother].
Babies and children are much more open to such experiences

eah i believe they can, i believe you can see you gardian angel when you are a child but unfortunatly when we get older our mind closes up to theese possabilities.

yes i believe babies see spirts.Like they say imaginary friends. i think most children grow out of it once they get older. my nephew always used to say he can see "poppy"(my grandad) he had never met him, nor had we mentioned him. My nephew had problems when he was younger and was in hospital alot. the nurse asked my sister who is poppy because he keeps talking to him. we sometimes ask him does he still talk to him(he's now 12) and he says yes. my stepson remembers seeing something in his room when he was younger, my husband told him it was his grandad keeping an eye on him while he sleeps.after that he disappered.

my mum always says that cam sees angels when he does that! even as a tiny baby he'd stare at what appeared to be nothing and smile! it freaks me out, but if it comforts him then i can kinda accept it. my cousin saw, when she was about 7, my nanny(who died 15 years ago today) who passed away that night sat at the end of her bed holding a baby, now my cousin was conceived that night but we also had a stillborn cousin so she never knew which baby she was holding!

on a lighter note, he also looks at a picture in our living room and chats to it, the picture is of white heart lane, the football ground of tottenham hotspur, dave's team!! he he x

My niece used to have experiences like that when she was younger. After my grandparents passed away my sister took their minivan. My niece would be talking to someone in the back and my sister said "Who are you talking to?" and she said "Grandpa". Now, my grandpa died in 1985, way before my nieces birth. But she could describe him. It was strange. There are unexplained things in this world, so I guess it could be a possibility. I know people that have had supernatural experiences, and I believe them.

I believe that children are more open to these kind of psychic experiences. I read a lot of Silvia brown books so I do a lot of thinking into this matter. silvia believes that we are sent here from a spirit world and still have some connection with the spirit would when we are babies and children. have you ever know a kid with an "imaginary friend" perhaps the friend is someone who has passed on?
something to think about I guess.

I believe they do. My son used to stare at the corner over his bassinet an dlaugh and point....and 2 year slater, my daughter did the same. I often find them in their rooms at night just sitting up and babbling...

When my first daughter died...I swear I saw my grandfather holding her....



I like to believe that he is here, that he comes to visit.....I mean, who else could make my child as happy as my Pop made me?

When they do these things, I just tell them, "Tell them Mommy loves them too"....and I smile and walk away.
