My Oldest son (coltan) likes to play with dolls. Don't get me wrong, he plays with trucks and cars and all kinds of "boy" toys as well, but he adopted a doll off my bed and he just loves her. He rocks her and puts her on his rocking horse and calls her his baby. Personally, I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. I believe it is helping to teach him to be gentle and nurturing and because he has a little brother and another coming soon, I think that him learning how to care for babies is extremely important. He loves babies (real babies) and is really good with him. So I have no problem with him playing with a doll. I mean, he still plays with all his rough and rowdy toys, too. I don't worry that he is going to grow up to be homosexual because of it.
What do you ladies think? Is it ok for a little boy to play with a doll?
By the way, Coltan is 2
