I love sambucca!

My partner is dissapointed that he has a girlfriend who won't drink beer.

I'm fussy with my food and sometimes alcohol.

To me, beer tastes the same, the last time I tried to drink Canterbury Draught, it literally cleaned me out (I was on the toilet 3 times within a hour with the shits).

My fav wine is Ast Riccadonna followed by Mondorro.



My *parents* have a bar in their garage and are into home brewing. I only ever had bourbon that was home made, and I hated it. Now I don't mind it if its not home made.

I love Jamacian rum!, Smirnoff double black.



I used to work in a city mall and one Sunday morning, I was eating breakfast, on my way to the shop only to be greated by pink spew. Was not the nicest thing. We spent the next half hour trying to clean it up without being sick ourselves.

Yeah, I'm not big on sake-not sipped, not taken like a shot, not hot, not cold-I'm just not a fan.
SoCo isn't my favorite either-although I've been known to drink it once in a blue moon.
As far as shots go...The aforementioned funky monkey and sex with an alligator are my favorites...Oh, and Scooby snakes and Cottonmouths.
I love a good Long Island-that's my measure of a bar tender.
I really do like beer better, though, or maybe wine or pink chamapgne over liquor. Liquor tends to make me stupid.

LOL!  Wine coolers used to make me strip! hahaha!  That's how cheap I was!  I had forgotten about Southern Comfort, I havent bought any in over a decade...I've been buying stuff we don't usually try.

Anyone ever try Sake?  Holy cow!  My sister bought me some for Christmas last year....wooooo....that stuff was pure alcohol and gross!  I don't know...maybe it was the label?  Has anyone ever gotten hold of good sake?

I like red wine better than white...unless it's a really hot day! I will drink port with chocolate, because it's nearly as good as sex! I think Irish whiskey is better than the other pretenders. I don't drink much else...tho, I do enjoy a GOOD beer at the baseball park or at a brewery....I will cook with lots of different wines, depending on what I am making. I have had a shot of 300$ a bottle tequila, and I can tell you from experience, the price DOES matter!

How do I make a banana daqueri?

I think the question should be, why would you want too?! LOL

Place 1 cup of ice in a blender.  Pre-crush to insure good blending :)

Take one small (forzen) banana (or 3/4 of a very large banana). Add and blend. 

Add 2 oz rum (I recommend a light/amber rum as opposed to white).

Add 1 to 2 tbs lime juice (personal taste)

Add 1/2 oz creme de banana (or tripple sec as a substitute)

For a sweeter daqueri add 1/2 oz simple syrup :)

1/2 oz blue curacco, 1/2 oz red sourpuss (that's the shot).

For the drink, place in a glass with sprite and a drizzle of grenadine.  Stir.  Enjoy!

Word of warnings, drink too many and your tounge will turn purple :P

Oh! I forgot to add that you garnish the daquari with a lime slice :)

Vodka is a long-time friend of mine too :-p
Pink Champagne is also a favourite, but it always used to get me in trouble...
I like a Traminar Riesling, but HATE Chardonnay.
Of course I like beer!! I'm Australian ;-)
I used to be fond of a Tequila Slammer (lick, sip, suck lol) but have luckily outgrown that habit.
I have only been drunk once since I had my daughter, but have a regular glass of champagne each Friday night with my neighbour.

I don't like wine. The smell of it makes me nauseas.

I don't like beer. The taste of it makes me insta-spew - literally.

I don't like whiskey. The smell of it makes me gag.

I don't like tequila. The taste of it makes me gag.



Vodka I can drink like water.

Amaretto I can drink like water.

My favorite drink is also a shot, called a Melonball;

Melon Liquer (preferably Midori), pineapple juice & Vodka.

I have never had a hang over in my life because I only drink vodka and vodka loves me.

I have had all of 7 drinks since my son was born.

I have been wanting to go to Spec's our local liquor warehouse, and buy all kinds of beer and have a taste testing. My cousin from New York loves Stella Artois, whereas I think it tastes like piss...I drink lagers, darks, and ambers, usually imported stuff. I love to make beer bread, so if I get hold of a beer I cannot drink, it goes into the bread!

I love mixed drinks more though...I had a banana daqueri once, and haven't been able to find another...I love white russians....I drink Captain Morgan coconut rum with milk....yeah, I'm strange, or an alcoholic! lol! jk jk...I couldn't do my job if I were.

I've never tried a good scotch, mostly because $80 a bottle isn't something I just do...I have to KNOW I am going to love that kind of commitment. lol!

I think white wine is better than red, but I cook with red wines all the time. I think most of them are too dry to sip on...but I do like blushes.

I want to try Sean Combs' vodka, it is supposed to be really smooth. Anyone try it?

Dortmunder Gold made by Great Lakes Brewery is the best beer in the world - it's won the gold medal multiple times. From 1995 -2008 only missing the gold twice. Sorry suckers....lol

I love a nice Hefeiweizen (sp??) for my beer.
I prefer Jack Daniels to Crown Royal.
I have a dirty love for Malibu Rum.
My husband can not make a decent mojito, but I love to have one when I'm out.
My wine of choice is usual Spanish, they most often go well with food.
But just to sip I like a cool Chenin Blanc.
I truly detest scotch, particularly when it smells like a peat bog.
But I love a good port.
