In those cases in life I believe an eye for an eye. I would to the samething to a peadophiles if I had a chance. Those people are digusting that is coming from a child that was molested as a child. So I say let them have they day not in court but by the hands of those he made suffer. Our justice system in canada is a joke I want the death penalty in Canada because I hate having my taxes dollars paying for someone in prison in those cases. He gets extra brownie points for killing peadophiles but I wished he would have not killed people who did not deserved it but killing peaophiles is perfect in my view.

i do not think that the cost of keeping a prisoner shoud be a reason for the death penality, it should be used because the person is unfit for realse ever, if we start putting a $$$ value on a life (any life) it is slippery slope, what if the price of a new hip was a bit much so sorry nan, i'm sending the kids to school instead, don;t take it personally the dr said it'll be over in a few seconds and you know it makes finaicial sence...

I don't know how the Australian prison system works, i can only imagine it is like the U.S. in that it is paid for by tax dollars.

In the U.S. it costs between 60 to 80,000 dollars a year per prisoner. So this guy just saved the tax payers of Australia some money. That would give him some brownie points with me.

Do you have any idea how angry it makes a person that they weren't able to send their child to college but now their tax dollars are providing college for their child's murderers? And the murderers get time off for completing the privilege of going to college?
The child doesn't get time off for being dead.

Send him over here, i have some people i'd love for him to meet, again and again and again.

Even the idea that brownie points could be awarded grosses me out. Condoning this guy's actions because they were directed at a pedophile? Fuck, come on, this twisted asshole committed serious atrocities, he vocalized how much he enjoyed it, and some people are happy about it. I really don't get the support voiced for this kind of thing. I can not condone those abhorent actions, regardless of them being performed on a convicted pedophile. It was a brutal torture and murder of a human being. Let's go back to the fucking dark ages, shall we? Cause those times were just peachy.

Eye for an Eye, Karma, "treat others how you would want to be treated"... its all about the same just in different wording...to me anyways.
I DO believe in the Death Sentence... at age 16 I had a friend murdered...because "the devil told him to do it".. BS!! We had a 2 yr old boy in the Center I worked at beat and killed by his mom's boyfriend.... these families will NEVER get their children back so why should the MURDERER get to breath and have contact with his family? Why should we waste tax dollars on the people.. to feed them, provide medical care, they get to watch TV, workout in a gym etc.

Does this guy get "brownie points".. no. Do I think he was justified at what he did?.. no. Would I hope, God forbid, that if someone ever hurt/killed my kids or family member and the system let him go that someone would go after him and remove him from society... I cant honestly sit here and say no... I wouldnt feel a shred of sadness for the person.

It was wrong - period - i dont care, a wrong does not right a wrong - no matter which way you look at it. And I very strongly believe in forgiveness - that is what Jesus came here for - if you are truly sorry for what you did, and give yourself to the Lord - everything with the Lord is possible. And I know this from my own husband's experience. His father, uncle and father's friend sexually abused him for a few years of his childhood life -- his dad and uncle passed away by his pre-teen years and it was finally over for him. My husband said when he went to his dad's death-bed, he told him that he hated him -- his dad asked my husband for forgiveness and was crying before he passed away. For almost ten years my husband went on hating his dad for what happened to him -- now, this next part sounds unreal - but, my husband found God in his life, and upon prayer and meditation saw (or what he thought he saw) was an apparition of his dad, and he asked my husband to please forgive him. And my husband did. He said he had to - it was the only way he could move forward in his own life. Now, i dont know if this meant that his dad went to heaven -- but I think the possibility may truly be there.

Anyhow - to get back on the subject -- i still dont think this person deserves what he got - and the killer was wrong for doing what he did - i dont give two shits -- we arent supposed to seek revenge, how i see it - the person that committed these crimes, and does go to hell - is going to get more than enough torture for eternity- why poison your own soul?? Jesus also said to turn the other cheek. What needs to really happen in this world - is the judgements need to quit. You need to sweep your own back steps, before you go around sweeping others. My final conclusion - this whole things sickens me, and I don't think any browny points are in store.

Legally it is wrong and he should be punished for it. However, in my personal opinion I would congratulate the man for his efforts on disposing of pedophiles in such a creative manner. I would suggest that he keep them alive as long as possible so that the pedophile can experience just what he puts his victims through. (wow do I sound nuts. lol )

I dont really believe in an eye for an eye but I cant say that I would be sad in the least for someone like that being killed. Child sex offenders are the worst kind of person and I dont think sending them to jail for years does anything. The children that they abuse dont forget that it happened to them in 5 to 7 years, they are effected for the rest f there lives so why should the people who did that to them get to try to restart there lives??? I have seen to many kids that have been abused to have anything but hate for sex offenders and they get whatever comes to them in jail for taking the innocence of a child.

I honestly could care less how a pedo is abused... dont have one ounce of sympathy for a tortured death. But I would worry about someone who was able to abuse another human every day without some bad effects (emotionally)... if a robot could be built to torture pedos then end with death, I would be all for it. I am a believer in capital punishment because so many people whine about "humane treatment"... so it isnt legal to cut off legs, arms, fingers, toes, etc of criminals.
As for "brownie points"... I hear about criminals asking for forgiveness and supposedly going to heaven even tho they murdered, robbed, etc. I dont agree with any of it but I give a thumbs up to anyone who kills a pedo in any type of way. Im not encouraging taking to the streets and killing all pedo because it is against the law... but the day it becomes legal, my gun will be loaded and ready. (i am not talking about sex offenders but pedos)

here in aus poofter usually means a gay man, very politically incorrect these days,but is often just an insult from one guy to anther and i think he was using poofter just as a derogetory name for peadphiles and also for men who had raped other men in goal..i put it in to show just how at ease this guy was with the violence and killing of people, not that he was over come with a blinde moment of rage but sytematic enjoyment of hurting and killing,
You ladies have pretty much echoed my feeings, that no he isn;t gettting any brownie points, there was a thread a while back about peadophiles in the general popualation where many people (or may be a few very vocal ones) said that they didn;t care what happened to peaodphiles in the general population, it is very odd to see that when the question is phrased differently how different the response is..

But this is what i think. When i was reading this story about what he did to that other man it really grossed me out. It was just so ugly! i didnt feel like Oh hell yea he got what he deserved. Thats a good job!! But then again i dont know what that guy did in detailed with his pedophile conviction so maybe that is why i dont feel like he deserved it. If he did something to my child and i found out that happened to him i cant say that i wouldnt be a little. . happy? for getting his in the end however i wouldnt be thanking the murderer who did that to him. Do i think he will get brownie points absolutely not do i think God will see that he did something kind of good? No like someone said rape is rape murder is murder. If that guy did something to my kid that doesnt mean i am gonna send someone to rape him or that im gonna rape someone else. Even though i may think about killing him i may wish and pray for him to be dead everyday doesnt mean that i will commit the same sin that he did just because it makes it equal. If i were to do the same thing because i thought it was justified then i would think that In Gods eyes we are in equal in that we are both wrong. So yea definitely no brownie points.

And, no, murder is murder, rape is rape, violence is violence .... we can justify this in many ways, but the end result is the same. Murder is thought to be wrong, but when approved of by a 'jury of our peers' we murder .... it is still murder ... this guy is a sick-o and his methods don't make the world a better place. thats just horrible omg I dont think thats right but I dont know the circumstances mabye this person had his own issues abused as a child and made him an abuser whatever, I mean I know someone who went to jail for child molestation but would I think he deserved this kind of treatment no way in hell. he was a very nice upperclass man nice kids nice house nice job nice life somewhere along the line hes gone wrong or got some thign in his head and he knows hes done wrong. I believe in humane euthanization. Some people can never be released into society and I feel it is best to let them go than force them to spend the rest of days in confinement. This would be after extensive research as we should be trying to figure out ways to prevent this in the future.

I think the death penalty is an easy way out. I think it would be more awful for the person if they were to be tortured the same way they tortured someone. The concept of 'an eye for an eye' is dangerous, and I do not agree with the death penalty. But I also think there's an element of human nature. If it had been my child who was hurt by this prick, you better believe I would want him dead.

Paedophiles and sex offenders get a notoriously hard time in Australian prisons (and prisons elsewhere too, I imagine). I remember reading the book about the Anita Cobby murder years ago. One of her murderers was raped with a pole wrapped in barbed wire while in prison. Did he deserve it? Absolutely. He was the scum of the earth. Can I condone it? I don't think so.

i am not a huge fan of the death penalty, 1 person wrongly executed is enough reason not to have it, and we will never have it here anyway, but this guy is a prime example of where i doubt anyone could be too sad about it, he served a sentence for rape torture of a 7 yr old boy was released and with in days raped tortured and murdered a 2 yr old girl,
