Brianna Mikayla April 8th 2008 11.52pm vaginal birth had pethadeen about 4 or 5 hours before the birth and that was it, 22 hour labour, 32 minutes pushing. I had a bad time healing due to some issues with my muscles and not being cut. Spent 6 days in hospital and they were not happy with me going home. Oh she was 6lb 4oz 51cm

Paige Sierra 22nd July 2010 1.41pm 4 hours labour 20 mins pushing, had an induction so the 4 hours was from when they broke my waters, they did not start the contractions til an hour later. Had an epidural at 5.5cm it was fantastic normal birth I was out of hospital same day and shopping the next day She was 7 lbs 11 oz

Harrison was born on 7 oct 07 at 920am emergency c-sec had gas and spinal block after 9hr labour, 2hr pushing. 40+8weeks. Aiden was born on 9 jul 09 at 402am VBAC after 7hr labour also 2hr pushing with light epi and gas. 40+3 weeks They were both 3.46kg (7lb10) and 53cm (20.9in)

Fierna Juliet, one week overdue as of today! Hopefully will be born at home, vaginally with no option of drugs. And hopefully a short labor but honestly at this point I'll take any labor just to get it going!

Ethan William born 12th Oct 2009 at 5.11pm. He weighed 5lb 6.5oz, he wasn't measured, I don't think they routinely measure length in the UK any more.



I was induced at 37 weeks due to my Pre-e and had a 45 minute labour (labour started when they broke my waters), I only used the gas and air for pain relief and had a vaginal delivery. I'm hoping that this next labour will be slightly longer (maybe an hour and half) so I can get to the hospital - I don't want a car park baby :-)

My labor was 12 hours 55 minutes, from the time my water broke until he was born. Pushing time was 38 minutes. I didn't have any pain meds nor did I have an IV.

I was 39 weeks, 4 days when I had him.

No drugs other than the ineffective freezing for the episiotomy and vaccum, labour was 3 hours from start to finish. Went from 0-10 cm in just over an hour.

Hopefully October's baby will be just as quick!

Benjamin Peter (boy), 2 yo, July 15th 2008, 9:15 pm. 21 inches, 7.12 lbs. Induced at 42 weeks. Tried natural vag. Epideral. Ending in c-section after 13 hours. Morphine shots during operation because epideral wasn't strong enough.

Morgan Jane (girl), 11 mo, May 11th 2010 at 1:11 am. 20 inches and 7.11 lbs. Induced at 42 weeks, attempted VBAC with epideral. Ending in C-section after 15 hours with spinal.

Kieran Daniel- born June 13 2009, 9:30 pm at 41vweeks and 1 day. Total labor was about 15 hours give or take. Got an epi right at the very end, within minutes of pushing (i didn't know I was that close!) 8 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches.

Rowan Brock- January 31 2011 at 7:50 am. 40 weeks and 3 days. Labor was about 9 hours long, completely natural and unmedicated, at a freestanding birth center. 6 lbs 13 oz and 19 1/4 inches long.

Samuel, August 14, 2009; 7lb 11 oz, 20 inches, 1:15am., induced with pitocin, had epidural and episiotomy, vaginal birth, from the time my water broke to the time he was born: 40 hours. (Only 6 hours of "hard" labour, though.)

Wyatt Robert, born October 4, 2007. He was 8 lbs 7 oz, 22 inches long. Born at 12:43pm via c-section. I was having high blood pressure the last 3 weeks so they took him one week early plus he was breech. At first I had an epidural but 5 minutes before the section I could still feel everything so I ended up with a spinal block. I am hoping the next one (if I am lucky to ever have another, Wyatt is my miracle baby. Took 2 years to get him :o)) will be a VBAC, I have always wanted to have a waterbirth.

Ladybug 4-11-10 labor..not really sure...hard serious rush your ass to the hospital that is 1 hour away I was in at about 6am delivered via VBAC at 9:15 am (really just made it to the hospital to push) all natural vag birth. weight 7lbs 7oz, cannot remember length.

Tavier Terrell-12/25/96 @ 1130am...labor was 2 days...weighed 7lbs 7 oz 21in.....vag birth..pain meds..hellz yeah..I'm no hero...



Sydney Daquai- 10-31-01 @ 7pm 8lbs 6oz 19in, labor 12 hours. Vag birth..epidural...no parade for not having one..load me up please and thank you...



Rylan Aneesh- 12-29-06 not sure bout time actually. 7lbs, 22 inches, emergency c-section, heart rate dropped to 40s so they knocked me out and saved his life...o and before all the commotion...epidural was on board thank you very much....lol

4 hours natural labour, diamorphine injection at 3am, 2 to 10 cms in 40 mins, waited for waters, 3rd stage 14 minutes (2 little, 3 big pushes), 2nd degree tear, no stitches, delivered onto my stomach, breast feeding established within minutes ( i know you didn't ask for that but i like to promote it =P)

First Princess...23rd of September 04, 39 weeks pregnant...9&half hours of labour..epi inserted an hour and half before she came into the world..gas&air up to then...she was 7lbs 70z..51cm long.:-)



Second princess..finally came into the world safely and healthy on the 6th of jan 09, 40 weeks and 4days pregnant

.I spent 4days waiting for her to arrive in hospital, before things went horrible wrong.

She was 6lbs, born by emergency section..she was a mth&half under her growth..she was tiny but a good weight.I had a spinal for that and morphine for that day.She was 48cm long.:-)

Gas is Nitrous Oxide. It's the first option for pain relief in Aus.

Ava Katharine Isabella, 4 years old, 5 lbs. 10 oz., 10th pregnancy / 1st live birth, born vaginally after 44 hours of labor, 30 of which was bone crushing, balls to the wall hard labor, no epidural. I did take one dose of Stadol (can you blame me???) which I immediately regretted bc it made me delerious and I couldn't remember where those damn pains were coming from lol. With every contraction for the next hour, until it wore off, I was like "Ahhh, what the hell is that!!!". Crazy stuff! I can't believe they feed that poison to preg women. ; )



Joseph Jadyn Andreas, 3 years old, 6lbs. 5 oz., 2 weeks premature, born vaginally after a 3 hour labor...it was technically a little longer but it was 3 hours from the time I realize it was 'real' labor and not the false labor I'd been having for days until he was born. I was 8.5 cm when we made it to the hospital....this labor totally made up for the 44 hour labor I had with my first! : )

I've lost 10 pregnancies, one of which was Jadyn's twin.

Induced at 36 weeks due to onset of kidney failure & pre-eclampsia

Born vaginally

I had to leave parent-teacher conferences in order to report to the hopsital where they had me hooked up to stupid machines for 24 hours. I was a bad patient and bitched complained.

Backstory on his birth-My sister gave birth 6 months before I did and we shared the same OB. Her kidney failure started at 37 weeks and had to have an emergency c-section. So that's why the doctor wanted to do the vaginal delivery for me-avoid a c-section. Sister is currently on dialysis.

20hr natural labour that ended in forceps with spinal for asynclitic presentation leading to prolonged second stage (2hrs pushing).

My daughter born on January 1st, 2009. 2:38pm, 3 hours labour/delivery (15 minutes of pushing). Weighed 7.7 pounds. Used Epidural, Vaginal birth.



My son was born on August 10, 2010. 3:00pm. 2 hours labour/delivery ( 5 minutes of pushing, its so fast its unbelievable) Weighed 8 pounds. Vaginal birth no medicine whatsoever.

Samantha Lynn and Kylie Ann-Irene born Dec. 13, 2001 at 1:02pm and 1:07pm, 5lb 4oz and 4lb 11oz, both 18 inches via semi-emergency c-section after a 'failed' induction attempt in the morning and Kylie was in distress.

Caleb Kekoa born March 27, 2008 at 8:10am 7lb 2oz, 21 inches... I think... via scheduled c-section.

Cole William Matthew, born February 14, 2008, at 37 weeks. I was induced due to high blood pressure. 4 1/2 hours labor with gas and an epidural 10 minutes before he was born (pretty much forced on me.) Vaginal delivery. He weighed 5 lbs. 3 oz and was 18 inches long.
Zachary Arthur Lawrence Franklin, born September 7, 2009, all natural vaginal birth after 3 1/2 hours of labor and barely making it to the hospital on time! He was 38 weeks 6 days gestation and weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long.

Cheyenne Rose Skinner born on July 24, 1998 at 1:09 p.m she was 6 lbs 8 oz and 18" long natural birth after 10 hours of labor
Seth Gordon Skinner born April 7, 2005 at 3:30 am by E-C-Section after 12 hours of labor with no cervical change (all tangled up in his cord) 6lbs, 15 oz at 5 weeks early and 19" long

Grant Michael Andrew Brown born feb. 8th, 2000. he was 8 lbs 5 oz, and 20 in. long. he was born at 9:13 am. i was in labor with him for 19 hours.
Vincent Michael Anthony Brown born oct. 29th, 2004. he was 8 lbs 7 oz, and was 20 1/2 in. long. he was born at 1:43 am. i was in labor with him for 9 hours 43 minutes. i was induced with him 1 day after he was due, due to his heartrate going up into the 200's for a few weeks and my cervix being 4 cm and effaced (can't remember how much effaced)
Lucas Michael Aeron Brown was born on may 14th, 2007. which is my mothers birthday as well.♥ he was 9 lbs 5 oz and 21 in. long. he was born at 2:29 pm. i was also induced with him a week early. due to his size, my cervix was ready again at 4cm and 50% effaced, and i had horrible PSD. i was in labor with him for 5 1/2 hours. :)
