When I was a kid, I remember this was one of my mother's Halloween pet peeves. She felt it was wrong to take your baby out trick or treating and thinks it's just a ploy by the parents to get free candy.
Personally, it's never bothered me. I just think they're excited as new parents to celebrate Halloween with their little one. Plus, they can show off their baby's adorable costume. I'm quite certain the treats are consumed by the parents. *wink* *wink* but really, it doesn't bother me in the least. We only took our son and SD (for their first Halloween) to the neighbours we knew so they could see our little ones dressed up and we could see their kids.
How do you feel about parents taking their babies (under 12 months) trick or treating?
What are your trick or treating pet peeves if you have any?
