What cute costumes/characters are your children going to be for Halloween?

My 7year old is going to be a Ninja….for the 3rd year in a row
my 6th month old is going to be a Tiger…he is half Korean and born the year of the Tiger

The picture you have posted is so cute! My daughter will be a fairy this year, she was Nancy Drew last year and Indiana Jones the year before that. As a 2 year old she was Tigger and looked sooooo cute. I loved dressing her up and love the ideas she now comes up with on her own.

Shopping for Halloween costumes this year was horrible, everywhere I went had a shitty selection and size 3 costumes were just about non-existant (unless I was shopping for a girl, I'm not, then there were more choices). In the end we picked up a Mr.Potato Head costume for our son. It's big enought that it should fit again next year.

I love Halloween! Last yr my stepson dressed up like Link from Zelda and my daughter (who was 13 months old)dressed up like snow white. So yesterday I was going through our Halloween stuff and my daughter (now 2yrs old) found her old costume, put it on and it still fits her! Soooo now she wants to be Snow white again. And yes Joy B. the costumes selection did suck but I was told that they weren't finished putting out stuff.

lol Kate, I'm usually a witch every year to! I did the pregnant witch last year! My daughter (4 mo.) is going to be tinker bell from the Disney Store when we go trick or treating with her cousins (9 and 11) at the mall and then when we go around the neighborhood she will be in a warm fleece lady bug costume. (we live in Canada and it's always cold on Hallows Eve!) Samhain is easily my fav holiday and if I could she would have a costume for everyday of the month, hehe :D

The kiddo is probably going to be red riding hood (she loved the costume and her aunt really talked her into it). I will be a witch (a pregnant witch, this year) as I am every year. I do what I know. ;)

Matthew (5 1/2) is undecided between last year's read Power Ranger costume or a ninja.
I'll wear my graduation cap & gown again.

Dahlia (1.5) will be tinkerbell.
Daisy (almost 3 months) will be a butterfly. I wanted Daisy to be a daisy but the flower costumes were either really cheap looking/poorly made or really expensive.

Jocelyn, you definitely have the cleavage to be Beth !!!

Jocelyn & Erin - are you guys getting that bodysuit buzz lightyear costume that I've seen at Zellers and Walmart??? Did you see the Woody one like it? It looks so awful lol I think the Jessie costume is the best out of all of the Toy Story bodysuit costumes :\ the other ones all seem awkward or just too 1 dimensional :(

My 2 year old will be a monkey!!!! He chose it himself and REFUSED to look at any other costumes in the store. Can't wait

Cole is going to be a puppy. One of my mom friends sent the costume to me last year when he was super into puppies, but the costume didn't get here until after Halloween! Fortunately, it still fits, so he'll wear it this year. Zach will be a monkey, if the costume still fits. If not, I guess I'll be going shopping!

I made my daughters' costumes this year for the first time. They are going to be little bees! I made tutus and antenna hairbows. Paige is 3 so she's getting some homemade wings, too (thanks, clothes hangers, pantyhose, and glitter!), but my littlest will be a newborn so she's just got the striped onesie, tutu, and headband. I'm so excited!

Well we have a theme this year, as dictated by my almost 6yr old... He's decided he's going to be The Joker... and told me Hailey and Hannah (his 2yr old sisters) are going as the plant lady (Poison Ivy) and Catwoman... I'm supposed to be the Joker's sidekick (Harley Quinn) and he wants my husband to be the Scarecrow...

All in all I'm quite happy, b/c by basic elements they're all very easy costumes to put together, except for mine, I dont have the time to do a jester costume like Harley wears, so I'm just gonna do a clown face with pig tails lol

Our daughter is going as "Super Kya". She absolute loves the show Super Why, and when he says, "Super"-you! She always yells, Super Kya with the power to help! So we are getting her a cape and a mask and sewing a giant K onto her shirt.

Eliza (age 2) is going to be Snow White. The girl is obsessed with that movie. I got her costume off Amazon with gift cards I earned through swagbucks.

Last year she was a spider. I actually made that costume. She had a black onsie and several pair of black tights. So I stuffed the tights with pillow stuffing and safety pinned them to the onsie. She wore another pair of black tights under the onsie with her black mary janes. Homemade looking, but cute, and people could tell what she was supposed to be. I took that as a good sign.

He is going to be an alien. I found this awesome green and yellow hat with tentacle like tubes coming out of it, a transformer chest plate that I painted with glow-in-the-dark paint, and neon green and yellow fur boas to wrap around his arms so it looks like he has green and yellow striped arms....so he's good from the waist up, just gotta figure something for the bottoms now.....

I like the store bought stuffed animal costumes for babies, so cute!! but the bigger kid costumes are ugly :( so I have made his costumes the last 3 years: Dead Zombie Pirate, Dead Zombie Rock Star, and Alien......glad to be getting away from the Dead Zombie theme....

My daughter is going to be a vampire. She wants to use her witch cape from last year and she has the teeth already. I do the face painting. My 2 year old is going to be a lion which is a hand me down from the 7 year old. I love those full body costumes for the toddlers in our Canadian climate. I'm still debating if he gets face paint as he's awful wiggly.

Costco has some awesome costumes out. I wanted the fireman or the cop. Very thick and tons of accesories.

We looked at costumes at Wal Mart today and their selection this year is HORRIBLE! I think I may try to fashion a costume myself. Our almost 3 year old is totally into Thomas, so I think I may try to make him a conductor or Sir Toppum Hat or something lol I don't know yet :(
