What do you think?

Would you pay big bucks to have an organ transplant in 2 weeks instead of 2 years? Would it matter to you where it came from? Would you commit this crime to save your life or your childs?

There is no way in hell I could do this. I've a friend who waited years for his new lungs, he's so happy to be fit again that he throws his new airbags a birthday party each year. The thought of jumping the queue and taking that chance from someone elses mother / father / sister / brother or child, I just can't wrap my head around it.

I wud have an organ harvested n a heart beat for them. & I kno I wud feel guilty as H*** ,after It registered..but i wud suffer that n silence... they wud never kno how their mother went about it... I wud't want them 2 ever feel guilty 4 living...As 4 me.. never 4 myself I wud wait as lng as it took.

If I had the money, yes I would pay what ever it took to jump the queue, at the end of the day, it is my son whos life I would be saving, and I just wouldnt care what they did to me. In RL, My son is on the verge of going on dialysis, he has just celebrated his 2nd birthday. When he was born, they thought he was going to die from either total kidney failure or a heart attack as his potassium level was through the roof. His kidney wasnt producing the urine and storing all the toxcins. When he did his first pee, I cried like a baby, when they took the nasal-gastric tube out, i cried, last month when he was admitted to hospital due to a protentially fatal kidney infection...i cried. The only way my son will ever get a proper shot at life is through a transplant, and there just isnt enough donors....kids and adults die waiting for organs

I think it's unfair to skip to the front of the line just because you can pay for it. Many people have waited many years to get an organ that could save their life, and the rest of us can also wait until it's our turn.

It would also most definitely matter where the organ came from. I wouldn't want an organ "harvested" from someone who was murdered to give it to me.

If it was to save my child's life then I would be willing to pay big money for an organ, but if it was for me then i can wait til they had one legally. To me it would matter where it came from too.
