Two people posted at once! I guess I'll answer both questions?

Lucy's - Mostly my mom and MIL...they are both amazing. I also follow three blogs that encourage and inspire...one on saving money (since I stay at home), one on hands-on learning activities to do with your child, and one on healthy natural eating with kids. And of course, YOU ladies are a constant source of encouragement and inspiration. My mind has been stretched since joining COM.

Shannen's - I'd like a boy this time around, but I'd be more than happy either way. The only reason I'm wishing for a boy is so that I can experience one of each...since this will be our last baby. But two girls would be lovely!

Question: Who would play you in a movie?

Who to answer?
My own mum and my grandmother have both inspired me as a mum both differnt but both strong loving and generouse women.

Yeah i wished for boys both times but got girls but was very happy when they were born and wouldn't change a thing.

Next question: If you could change any part of your life what would it be?

Yes. Every 6ish months i do a clean out of old clothes furniture and kids toys and we also donate what little money we have to one of the childrens charites.

Did you every wish for a certain sex when you were trying for a baby?

I used to donate to 4 charities each month, but now I'm a SAHM we can't afford it, so I do volunteer work instead to give my bit- I am currently the chair person and a trustee of our local charity run pre-school.

Who has inspired you most as a Mum?

Briefly - for a stopover in Honolulu on the way to Canada :D So all I managed to do was have a few drinks in a bar at the airport.

Have you donated to a charity in the last 12 months?

I have my dream job. :) It is being a mom, teacher, wife, sister, daughter, granddaughter, SIL, aunt, cousin, and ME to my family. :)

Next question:"when it comes to sex, which is preferable, quantity or quality?" ( I liked this one so I copied.)

I'd just keep having them until I was too old or tired to have them anymore. I love babies and children and I'd love to have a big family.

What would your dream job be?

I believe in love at first sight. Although I didn't have it:-) But years later, I ended up marrying him!

Next question: How many children would you have if money and space wasn't a problem and why?

I sing classical very well and I could do something with it.

Next person: If you could be anyone in history who would it be and why?

Depends on the person. My mom's & dad's opinion mattered, so did my grandparents opinions. I value the opinions of my close family.
Anyone else can take their opinion and stick it - I like who I am, and that's all that matters to me outside of immediate family.

Next person: What is the one skill / ability you possess that is unique to you that you think could make you famous?

My 5 year old daughter's name is Aila and it means bringer of light in Finnish where my father was born.
Next: How much importance do you place on others opinions of you?

Reading? Not too often now, because he's too impatient and squirmy.

Looking at picture books together and telling him for the 4,637th time "That's a BEAR. BEAR starts with B. See? B-B-B-BEAR" until I'm about ready to pass out?

Yeah, we do that fairly often.

Next question: If you could go back and visit yourself, two days after your first child was born, what ONE piece of advice would you give yourself?

Quality is better than quantity when having sex. For the next person: How often do you read to your child/children?

No I cannot, but my 8 year old daughter can.

Okay my question for whoever is next:

"when it comes to sex, which is preferable, quantity or quality?"
