I can wear either/or. Although, I find myself reaching for the granny's more often than I like to admit. And no, I'm not talking about REAL granny panties that go up to your neck or my Grandmother's actual underoos. lol. More like bikini style or boy shorts. Although, I do feel sexier in a thong when I'm dressed for success ;)

Or maybe you go commando?

So let's hear it ladies. Are you a thong or granny panty type of girl and why?

EDIT: Do you think your SO should have a say in what you wear if he (or she) has a preference? Like Jon prefers that I wear thongs and he jokes me about granny panties when I don't wear them.

If someone actually starts a thread about vagina juices, let's call it "The Crusty Layer Conspiracy". Oh, that'd be a good name for an all girl band.

As much as vagina juices are a lovely topic to discuss on a Friday afternoon, can we please move back to the OP or move on to the next thread.

Thanks!!

Honestly.. Look at who's freaking out about things. It certainly isn't me. I'm done with you. All you ever do is pick on me just b/c I don't ever agree with you and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. You're acting very childish right now. I'm going through the same thing with my 2 year old that's going through this same phase. Enough already.

Sorry, Shauna. I agree.. Back to the ORIGINAL topic, please!

I wear something in between thongs and granny panties myself. Not a big fan of the thong, I'm a bikini cut girl.

SO .... Anywho ..... back to the original post : I wear thongs mainly ... why b/c i have a small ass and the bigger the underoo the more fabric that goes in my butt .... sometimes i do wear boy shorts: why: b/c my husband likes them and i like a compliment. What about everyone else?

No, you can move along since you seem to have a comprehension problem. All I asked was why would anyone use panty liners isn't that what underwear is for and you decided to freak out about it. I said nothing of your vagina being unhealthy. You're taking things out of context and running with it like a mad woman.

If a woman secretes fluid in the morning, by night time, she could have a crusty layer. Unless you change your underwear 5 times a day.

I'm not taking them out of context, Dana. I'm just saying I don't understand how you can 'not care' but then keep bombarding me with 'questions' about it. If you don't care, just leave it alone! I don't have to explain myself to you. I am a grown woman and my vagina is perfectly healthy, regardless of me wearing liners every single day. I've already answered questions about it. If your 'questions' haven't been answered by all that's been said, that's not my problem. It just means you're nit-picking about something that's really none of your business. Just know that I'm healthy 'down there' and my gynecologists have never told me I shouldn't wear liners everyday (and yes, I have mentioned it to them). If they don't have a problem with it and my vag is just fine, they why do YOU have a problem with it?

Dana - posted on 12/02/2010

Jesus Christ have you all lost your sense of comprehension, I was speaking to the fact of a "crusty layer" I'm not saying that you don't secret anything on a daily basis.

Again Christina, I said I don't give two fucks if you wear panty liners everyday, I'm just trying to understand why.
Please quit taking my posts out of context and then geeking out about them.

That's true, Shauna. I shower daily and wash 'down there' very well and still if you have a HEALTHY VAG, no matter how much you shower and clean the area, you are still going to secrete SOME fluid. That's common sense.

Dana, if you don't give two f's, then why do you even care why???

And I'm not the one obsessed about my 'juices'. OTHER people keep bringing it up!

And I know what I said. If it's whitish and you have colored panties, it CAN stain. Doesn't always, but it can. Thank you.

Kylie, I know you aren't talking about a coffee cup. But no one should need a cup period just to catch all their juice. If thats the case, they should see a doctor immediately.

Sherri, thank you :)

Shauna.. LMAO :)

SERIOUSLY! .... i dont know about any of you but when i was pregnant the slightest sneeze or laugh caused some leakage!!!! ... i dont have that problem now that the baby is out ... but OMG did you all go camando while prego too!?!??!?!?! Theres a whole circus of things going on down there then! AGAIN.... im just curious.

Dana - posted on 12/02/2010

Hm, I used to go commando, if you shower and clean properly you don't have a "crusty layer" nor do I have a "crusty layer" on my underwear.

But really, what would be the difference between any vaginal juice on your jeans or on your underwear, you wash them don't you? It would be the same damn thing.

Let's not all forget, it IS healthier for your vagina to not wear ANY underwear, cotton or not.

Bonnie - posted on 12/02/2010

I agree Shauna. Even if you leak some urine when you sneeze or laugh. That's kind of gross too.

Guys I think we need to lay off Christina. It truly is just how she feels and who cares if she wears panty liners or not?? Not sure why it is such a big deal that she doesn't agree with going commando, chooses to wear underwear and were a panty liner simply because she feels it is cleaner?

C. - posted on 12/02/2010

Well, that's nice. Most women have or do. (Learned this in sex-ed in 5th grade..) Your vagina naturally secrets a clear whitish fluid that has no smell. It's the sign of a healthy vag. If it's discolored, lumpy or smelly, you have a problem. Remember in a different thread I mentioned that I do a 'smell test'? Well that's why. I make sure my secretions are normal, just as they should be, with no smell or color.

Dana - posted on 12/02/2010

Kylie, implying that I need a cup for my juices is just like saying I'm too.. Well, juicy. So yes, that would be abnormal, therefore your comment implied that I have abnormal juices. My juices are just fine, as previously mentioned. I don't have more than I should and I don't have less. According to my doctors, it's a perfect amount.

C. - posted on 12/02/2010

Um.. Sure? :)

Dana, there was a time right before I first started getting periods when I wouldn't wear liners. Ever heard of vaginal discharge right before a girl starts getting periods? Well, let's just say that no amount of Shout got the white marks out. Then after I started my period, my mom told me she wore liners everyday and I started doing that.. Whattaya know.. No white marks :P

panty liners are used to keep your knickers clean..clean from vaginal secretions aka juices or leakage from tampons. I dont understand your point Christina. Everyone has "juices" and i never yours were abnormal. LOL
