WINTER IS NEVER GOING TO FUCKING END!!!!!
It has been blizzard-ing since 11 pm yesterday and we already have about 4 inches of new snow, with 5 more inches predicted!!!!!!!
Ok, that doesn't seem like a lot, but it's APRIL, and this new snow is ON TOP of our 20 inches of packed snow that JUST started to melt a couple days ago.
Fuck this. I hate Alberta.
I'm moving.

:( If you would like a place to move to you can come to Arizona...it was in the upper 80's today and we have already reached over 100 degrees this year. Here in phoenix it never snows....You do have to get use to 120 in the middle of the summer!

I'm so sorry. We had snow last week too. I"m in Buffalo NY and yeah, we're used to it too but not to your extent. It will end soon though, I promise.

Lol @ Jocelyn I'm exactly the same when it comes to the weather I like to have a whinge about it but sadly it doesn't change it. I actually live in Victoria in Australia and we have just come out of summer and into Autumn and it's already cold here, we're pretty lucky cause we don't get snow like you do well not at our house but we have mountains that I can see from my window near our house and they get alot f snow on them in winter so it gets very very cold here, I feel like we never even had a summer this year we used our airconditioner 3 times over summer and now I already have the wood fire going :( wouldn't it be nice if we could just pick the weather every day I'm sure most of us would pick alot more sunnier days ;)

I feel so bad for you Jocelyn. I also live in Alberta, ad we have not gotten any snow in the last couple days (knock on wood). We did have some freezing rain the last couple of mornings, but no snow. I am totally done with winter, and with any mre snow. It's been so nice to send the kidlet outside to play in the puddles, and slide down our mountain of snow without him wanting to come in after only a minute or two. I hope that where ever you are in Alberta that you start getting some warm weather, and that your snow goes away soon.

Aww come to Ontario, we havent had snow in 2 weeks, high of 13C tomorrow. Spend the day at the Falls yesterday, when we started driving, hubby says Oh check engine light is on its SPRING!! LOL (sensor is off and only comes on during spring and summer). I hate winter, and this winter has been pretty nuts with all the snow! Just remind yourself Jocelyn it could be worse it could actually be to cold to snow! :0)

Nikki, aren't you in Tassie now? This winter might pop that cherry. I'm pretty sure it is down to about 12C here tonight, and I haven't touched our heating yet.

I just can't imagine living with snow, I have never even seen snow settle on the ground. It's about 10 degrees Celsius here tonight (50F?) and I have the wood heater blaring. I would have to buy myself an Arctic suit. brrr you poor bugger.

I feel for you. I don't like winter. Thankfully we haven't had any snow on the ground for at least the past 2 weeks. We had flurries a few days ago, but they melted as soon as they hit the ground. Sorry, don't mean to rub it in.

Ugh that is disgusting. We had freak snow storm the other day...more like a slush storm just falling from the sky. It was only like 4-6 inches, then started raining so it is gone. Snow snow, go away, and don't come back unti next winter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I usually feel like that at the end of summer too Erin, but not this year. It just hasn't been hot this summer, not really. I think we missed the one week of hot weather here when we were in New Zealand.

*sigh*
so I had to go outside...I just got back in....apparently I underestimated how much snow we were getting...it LOOKED like 4 inches (I went off of how much snow was on top of the fence) but no no.
No.
I stepped outside into 12 inches of fresh snow....and it's still snowing....

I've never experience temperatures that you guys would call 'cold' lol. Probably around -2C (28F) is the coldest for me, and that is RARE!!

Sorry about the snow kicking your ass Jocelyn :( I feel like that at the end of summer, when I'm sick of the heat and all I want is to be able to turn the a/c off and open the windows.

Hey, under 60 is cold if you have no heating in the house. ;)

Granted, that temp is RARE, but it happens.... ;)

I've been to WA and OR in the winter several times. I can't stand it cuz I can never get warm enough.

97?! I couldn't stand that either. I'm a weather wimp. lol

Weather not been bad here. March was pretty much all sunshine and the temperatures even made it up to around 70f.
I even started to tan a little.

But it's been rainy and overcast for the last few days so our summer may be over now....
