A friend of mine is going to do a couple for me after Christmas. I'm getting a sanddollar on my ankle and a triskel but I can't decide where I want the triskel; on my upper thigh, upper arm or shoulder blade. I already have a sun burst on my left upper arm.

i really want a tattoo of one of those pieces of jewelry that middle eastern ladies in the movies always wear on their bicep. it's usually a serpent. jasmine has one in aladdin, lol.

Lol, I totally have a butterfly tramp stamp. It's awesome though because it's a monarch and I got in '99 right before they were ruined. I did it in one 5 hour sitting.
It really is a great spot for a tattoo and I don't wear thongs or g-strings.

Imy going to be getting a family tattoo im getting everyones birth month flower on my arm (im getting a sleeve)! I also have a sparrow with stars around it on the back of my neck,believe on my forearm, and ive had my hubby's name on my shoulder for 4 years we have been together 8 :)

I have a japanese symbol meaning love on my lower back. A tramp stamp my fiance calls it! Lol I got it when I was 18! I have a Dallas Cowboy star on my right calf with my 2 uncles and grandpas initials inside it to represent their love for the team and in remembrance of the 3 of them. I also have my fiance's name tatooed on my left forearm and he does too. We got those together a few months ago! People think we're crazy but I know he's my soulmate that's why I didn't hesitate getting it! I want to get something for my kids next tatoo. But not sure what. I also love pigs! So maybe incorporating them in it as well! Maybe you could do something with your fave animal, or color. Or the saying, "Life's too short"

Me and my husband both have each others names. His is large up his forearm , with our sons name on the opposite forearm ... i have his across my wrist.
I dont see anything wrong with it. If i were ever to divorce my husband i wouldnt care that the name was there, he made a huge impact in my life and thats what it symbolizes.

OMG I remember Glamour Shots at the mall! They were so the craze for awhile! I remember looking at a friend's pictures and thinking "Ummm these don't look ANYthing like you...what the hell did they do???" Then, I went with another friend one time to watch her have hers done and that's when I saw it. They put about 14 pounds of make-up (enough to cover an entire "corner" if you know what I mean lol) on her and then used a special lense that "softened" her features. Her pictures also looked nothing like her "real" self lol I skipped Glamour Shots after that. I can't imagine anyone actually WANTING to show their underwear in a Glamour Shots photo lol Did they put make-up on her ass??? LOL Kidding. Sorta.

Oh my, Joy. I have a friend that got some "glamour" shots done. Her G-string was hanging out the back of her low riders in every shot! Pet Peeve of mine. They are called underwear because you are supposed the wear them under your clothes and hidden. Anyways her photos looked super "trampy" because of it!

I waited until my mid 20's to get my first (and only so far) tattoo. Got it on my left shoulder blade. A tye dyed heart shaped peace sign because I'm such a hippy at heart. This was in the mid 90's and I TOTALLY wanted a butterfly "tramp stamp" right when they were becoming popular and before I ever heard the term "tramp stamp". I still think my next tattoo (WHEN I get one) will be there, scrolly vines and all lol Now, if I could just get my body to look good in the low-riders so I could show off the tramp stamp....
Hey, you know what ruined tramp stamps? Those girls who used to wear their G-strings sticking out of the top of their low riders lol So it's not the tats that suck, it's THOSE girls ROFL!
Now watch, I'll offend someone because one of "THOSE girls" will read this (gqtm) :P

I'm not big on tattooing people's names on my body...every person I know who tattooed the name of a SO on their body ended up breaking the relationship off later on. Seems like a death warrant of sorts. :/

well i don't know exactly what i'm getting yet jocelyn, lol! i just know it'll be hawaiian words. :) i've looked and it's a lot harder than i thought it would be to find sayings in hawaiian. i'm thinking "no kau a kau" which means "for eternity." in regards obviously to my marriage. chad would kill me if i got anything with his name tattooed on me, but i want something to comemerate our relationship. :)

oh you guys just gave me an idea!! we took our honeymoon( 6 years late, but hey we got one!! ) in hawaii. we loved everything about it. it's a very powerful place. the hawaiian language is beautiful. i'm gonna go look some stuff up there. yay!! i've decided!! thanks guys!!:)

Do you have a number that is lucky or just reoccurring in you life? My last name means triplet in German, I have three brothers, my daughter was born at 3am...so I always thought I'd get the roman numeral three on my back. You have anything like that, something simple that isn't a phrase?

I'll be getting it eventually. I'm not sure where; I've been toying with the idea of working it into the chest piece I am designing, or possibly down the length of the outside of my forearm...
