my 6 yr old twins have bugged me forever to have a sleep over at their friends house who is 3 houses up across the street from ours. My husband and i have to keep telling them no b/c their friends mothers boyfriend uses drugs. we have never flat out explained this to my daughers or their friend. i have put it nicely and told their friend that her moms boyfriend does a few things that my husband and i are not comfortable with. Then i come to find out their friend isnt very nice to them, she down right bullies them at times. I have told my daughters bc of that I dont like them playing with her, but still they persist in being this girls friend. I dont know i have always made it clear that they dont have to deal with their friend being mean they can always come home and choose not to play for the rest of the day.
