Haha...Ellen's version is a lot better than the book. I couldn't even finish reading the first one, the writing is horrible. I gave up at chapter 11, by that time I wanted to put a bag on Ana's head (I was tired of the constant blushing), ram a meal down her throat and choke her inner goddess.

OK Katherine, I had to come back and find this thread. Since, I am almost done book 1. There are 3 books. 50 Shades of Grey, 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades freed.
I must say I am absolutely LOVING 50 Shades of Grey! My friend had them as PDF's and passed them along to me. I started reading this past Monday evening and only have a couple chapter's left.
Yep, I have to say. I am NOT a reader and this book has got me interested. It isn't even so much the plot line, it is how the writer draws the audience in. A very good writer, for sure. I will be reading them all. Actually, my friend and I have decided we will not start reading book 2 until this coming Monday. This way we will be close in what we read and can discuss it over lunches! lol
I recommend this book. Whoa!! The word is, book 2 (50 shades darker) is better than than book 1. I guess, I will soon see. hehehee
Haha! I just got this book in the mail today as a gift from a friend, and she attached a cute button to it that said "I Read Banned Books."
Can't wait to read it ;)
ETA: I don't get it though, erotica is not new--it's been around for ages, so I'm interested in finding out why this particular one is causing such a big splash.
