This is more of an observation if you will.
I have a theory that in many situations throughout life we must make a choice between quantity and quality. Under most circumstances most people will choose and agree that quality takes precedence over quantity.
I think the following list covers a lot.
Sex
Sleep
Chocolate
Friendships
Clothing
"stuff"
Conversation
time
education
training
experience
traveling

I am hard pressed to find a situation or item that I would prefer having lots but of low quality. Perhaps food; if times were lean I would rather have a freezer full of ground beef than 10 pounds of T-bones.

Just for fun, list some things you would only take quality over quantity and things where quantity matters more than quality.

:)

You listed traveling? Does vacations fall under that catagory?
I think i'd take 10 vacations to go local camping over 1 vacation to Rome. (And I really want to go to Rome)

Quantity .... money. The US dollar is not worth a lot right now, but still, I'd like to have a bunch of them

Quality:
Chocolate for sure. Has to be dark and I only buy Dove. :)
Friends (better be since I really only have 2-3...)
I would say sleep, but I don't think I've ever gotten quality of that.

Quanity:
Money (though I've never had a quanity of that)
Food (as long as it isn't rotten and it's stuff that tastes good)
