The study cited was done in Australia, and says, “Even young healthy people develop symptoms normally associated with cardiovascular disease after drinking the caffeine drink. Researchers tested 30 young adults an hour before and after with sugar-free Red Bull. They say the results were striking.”
“One hour after they consumed the drink, their cardiovascular systems were no longer normal, and their blood became sticky, an indicator of blood clots.”[2]

My boyfriend drinks Monsters religiously. When he doesn't, he gets a headache. I made him tea and it didn't help. So wanting to be healthier and get him away from these drinks, I looked at the label and tried to figure out what was in it. Energy blend: 2500mg. Whoa. But there are two servings in this can so he is intaking 5000mg at a time! No wonder my tea didn't work, even being strong. Whilst I could not find anything horribly negative about Monsters (please post if you have something haha) I did find a shocking study on Red Bull.
I don't think it's fair there's not a warning label on the front of Red Bull due to the huge effects it has on a persons body. Also, now everytime I see someone buying a Red Bull I want to warn them... but the one I saw recently was an 18 year old girl with her friend. Do you think they'd care?
Do you?
