I'll post this here because it's along the same lines as replying with quote....

How do some people get different fonts when responding? I've seen people use italics, bold lettering, different colored lettering, some words larger for effect....how do you do that? I've studied my keyboard and other than caps lock I have no font controls. Silly question but I've been wondering about it for a long time.

So when you reply with a quote there are some options on the top of the box... Font Family = different type... Font size = different size... B = bold, I = Italics, U = Underlined, ABC with a strike through it = a line through your text... A with the bold line under it is different colors... alll of which I am sure you know that.... I hope that helps?

WOW don't I feel stupid....all this time it's been right up at the top and I never saw it....derrrrrr

Also, when I first posted that post, only the first blue font worked and the other variations didn't..... so sometimes you just have to use the lil "edit" thinger on the top of your post, don't change anything, and press save changes for them to work properly

And if you don't want to reply with a quote, but still want to use the different colors/bold/italics etc you can just "reply with quote" and then erase the quote so that you can still use the special effects :)

As well - last bit here - if you don't want to have to use the reply with a quote to do that, you can just use the codes (memorize them) and just figure out what the color code is for the color that you like !

oooh! did it work??? perhaps......   perhaps not!

If I just want to quote a section of someone's quote I delete the parts in the blue box of someones quote that I don't want included.
