In UK there have been several cases of supermarkets refusing to let adults buy alcohol if they have children with them "to protect the children from drinking" So if I do a weekly shop with my teenager that happens to include a bottle of wine they may not let me buy the wine in case she drinks it.
Our drinking age in public is 18, there are no restrictive laws about drinking at home.
Thoughts?
