i was watching the show the other night and i was wishing 2 things, i could call cps on her and that Gary was my brother so i could go to the house and knock her out..she is terrible. I mean she gets upset because he told her to move the flipping knives so the baby didn't samurai herself wth. Also, why doesn't the baby have sheets on her bed, take the flippin sheets and put them on the bed. Now i understand that it made her look irresponsible, but sometimes the shoe fits so wear it and grab the purse that goes with it. I feel sorry for him sometimes, no he isn't perfect but he isn't as bad as she is....she is losing weight like crazy so i would love to get that recipe from her before i knocked her out though...

I was thinking the same thing the other night Laura.... there was a sceen where Mike kinda shoved Angelina away from him after she went at him... and they didn't really show him shoving her.. they showed her hitting him but panned away when he kinda looked like he was about to shove her...

I happen to live within 60 miles of where Gary and Amber live (the city they live in, that is.) CPS here in Indiana nearly always removes the children until they sort things out. So if Gary calls on Amber, or vice versa, Leah would also be leaving. Maybe that would be a good thing for her? I can't believe CPS (Child Protective Services) doesn't have at least one person in their huge organization that doesn't watch the show. Hugs to all my fellow Teen Mom fans - lisanow2003 on YIM.

What I don't understand is why MTV won't show violence against women (Snooki getting hit was censored) but they show women hitting men all the time (Amber beating Gary up in almost every episode now and Angelina has hit most of the guys on Jersey shore). Isn't that sending mixed messages?

I cracked up when Gary said he was going to call CPS and Amber said they wouldn't be able to do anything....... and then her friends were like "he'd have to prove you're an unfit mom and he has no proof."



They have her BEATING him while he was trying to LEAVE on VIDEO !!!!!!!!!!!!!



Gary has ALL the evidence he needs on VIDEO to make sure Amber never sees Leah again.



I hate Amber, I wanted to jump through the TV and just beat the living shit out of her. I don't even like Gary but I love Leah, she is tooooooooo cute! I wanted to destroy Amber, for Leah.

Does anyone else find it just a lil awkward that Catelynn's mom is married to Tyler's dad and that Tyler and Catelynn are dating.... and had a baby together?



I know they're not related by blood or anything... but isn't Catelynn technically Tyler's step-sister? :-\ Awkward.

A couple of weeks ago, there was an episode where Ryan was bitching that by the time Bentley's 18, he will have paid $80,000 in child support. Oh, poor you having to pay $370 a month to support your own child. That must be a great burden for him. Asshat.



And did you see the last episode where Amber was hitting Gary? That girl has problems. And i about died when, instead of redirecting Leah properly when she was doing normal 2 year old stuff, she just picked her up and put her in her crib and closed the door. I guess if the alternative is flying off the handle with your kid, then that's the lesser of two evils, but throwing your kid in a room for God knows how long screaming and crying because you don't want to deal with them is wrong on so many levels, IMO. Amber is a horrible mother, and I'm starting to wonder if she's even a decent human being.

Maybe if more young men thought about the total amount of child support to be paid, there would be fewer teenage pregnancies. I don't teach sex education, but the health teachers do, and mention the amount of support to be paid (segregated classes, like physical education).

It seems Ryan only wants more time with Bentley so he doesn't have to pay as much child support...because he did mention to his male friends in one episode something like "by the time Bentley is 18 I will have paid $(I forget the exact number amount of money...that's a lot of money." He followed that with telling his friends that he was going to fight Maci for more custody. Considering that Ryan's mom and new girlfriend are shown taking more care of Bentley than him, I would bet money that he only wants "more time" JUST to pay less.

I agree with you Paige, Ryan really doesn't seem to care that much. His parents are pushing him into all this and so is his new girlfriend. i think his girlfriend has something against Maci and is sort of taking revenge by pushing Ryan to go to court. Ryan's parents are doing what they think is right and they can't understand the lack of interest Ryan has towards Bentley...

Personally, I can see both sides of the argument with Gary and Amber. Gary is the better parent, but then again he doesn't seem to understand that he needs to help change diapers and do housework too....

Catelyn and Tyler are really mature for their age, and I think they made the best decision for them. It REALLY pisses me off every time she gets into a fight with her mom or her boyfriend, because it's always "you gave your baby up for adoption" like it was a horrible decision. Her mom doesn't seem to understand that they made the decision so that their baby could have a supportive family, not be in the middle of a freakin war zone.

Farrah has her moments where I actually don't mind her. Then again, she irritates me when she gets too whiney about not getting to go out and have fun like other girls her age. On the same point though, there were times where she wasn't going out much and when she did finally decide to go out her mom would try and guilt trip her...no wonder Farrah is the way she is.

I think Maci is the most level headed of the bunch though. She has every right to be angry and every right to try and make herself happy. Through out the show Ryan doesn't seem to care, it's always been his parents pushing for him to spend more time with Macy and Bentley. Ryan really irritates me, he's pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned. lol

I watch the show every week and I CANT STAND Amber and Gary!!!! They fight on every episode. I dont think that there is ever an epoisode that they dont fight on. I also dont like farrah she is so ungreatful. I think that catelynn and tyler would have been WONDERFUL parents and they were the ones that gave up their little girl. Maci is my favorite though. I cant wait to see what happeneds with the custody battle because Ryan was never in Bentley's life for the first year and now that he is getting older he wants something to do with him.

I saw a magazine today, something about "Maci's custody battle, trying to keep Bentley away from slimy Ryan"

it made me laugh cause it had a picture of Maci all perty with happy smiling Bentley and then a mini picture of Ryan with a crying screaming Bentley and Ryan is rolling his eyes.

I think we all love/hate this show. Can't stand Gary myself, but then again, Amber isn't a lot different. Both are immature and selfish. Poor Leah. Love Maci and Bentley, I like Farrah but think her mom is a total whack job. Catelyn and Tyler need to understand that they have given their baby up for adoption and move on. Two sets of parents will only confuse the child for years. Time to get down from my soap box now.....

this show is my downfall too lol.. its the only reality show that i've ever had interest in .. not sure why.. anyways.. if i remember correctly.. farrahs parents may have made her cut off contact but i believe she didnt want him to know anyways as well.. and yes i cant stand her, i feel bad for both her parents.. her mom is a slight headcase but farrahs kind of a bitch too!.. cant stand amber or gary really, leah is the one whos giong to pay for that relationship... love maci.. i think its ok that she moves, this kids kyle seems really great, ryan gets a thumbs down.. i love caitlyn and tyler, to me theyre the only ones who really made a good mature decision.. and they seem mature than most kids their age.. their family situation sucks bad.. caitlyns mom is a bitch, big time she should consider herself lucky

@Brandy, yes.. he died before Sofia was born.
The reason Farrah texted him back saying that she wasn't pregnant was because her parents made her cut off all contact with him.

Gary and amber need help to deal with how the behave around there little one, its gone beyond okay now.If the cant make it work sometimes its better to be apart.It can work out best for all especially the child.Also i didnt say Maci does show a lot of maturity for her age..shes got her head on her shoulders and fair play to her.

I like all of they teen parents on the show, the do try hard and there doing the best the knew how to do.I really admire the couple who made the decision to give there little child up, in my heart i so feel the would of made good parents but respect the made a choice that they felt was right and best for there child.
I see there age coming through in some of the issues with the babys dads or there parents.The wont handle it how an adult would there not at the age were they will see things as a older person would.Also any couple or single parent have there times were the dont go about dealing with an issue etc in the correct way..we all have days were we did or said something in front of our children..not thinking.Again i have to say i have watched it a few times, and i think there doing well and doing there best.Ahh i was going to say there's a lot of pain behind Farrah i just picked up on something and i had compassion for her from the get go:-(thats sad that the father of her daughter died before her birth..that would be hard for anyone to deal with..goes to show why she has issues with her mother especially.Not allowing her to see the father..sad.

I love to watch this show. This past episode has so many things that made my jaw drop.

Gary & Amber need to seriously grow up. I can't believe how they fight in front of their little one, and they fight over superficial things that do not matter!!!!!! If they get married......

Farrah yelling and being bitchy because she wasn't having fun on her birthday - it's not like her parents wished for their car to almost blow up! Things happen, suck it up!

Catelynn and Tyler are amazing. I just can't say enough about them. I feel very bad for the relationship that Catelynn has with her mom. Her mom is so mean to her, it's almost unbearable to watch. I wish I could just give her a big giant hug and tell her that everything will be ok.

I like Maci, but I don't think moving to a different city, for a guy is a great idea....but I do hope that things work out for her. I don't like Ryan at all!

I watched it last night too and I was soo upset at the way they were acting (especially her) in front of the baby. Then after that confusing mess, she just leaves her in her room by herself to cry because she is so confused and scared because of what just happened. Oh, and that morning when the baby woke up and she slammed the door so she could keep sleeping, GRRR!

Catelynn's mom pisses me off and Tyler and Catelynn are have more maturity than all of their parents combined, it seems. They're cute together.

Farrah has a bad attitude but it seems that she gets it from her mother. The preview of the next episode seemed to imply that the father of her daughter died in a car accident. Kind of curious to watch that next week and see if it's true. Pretty sad if he never even met his own daughter because when he texted her to ask if she was pregnant she replied "no" but I guess he should know by now if he watches tv.

I like Maci. I think she is moving early just to make sure she can get out before it's too late which might end up being a bad decision and hopefully she still makes arrangements for Bentley to see Ryan.

Farrah's parents wouldn't let her see Derek when they found out she was pregnant, her mom even made her block his number and he was killed in a car accident before Sofia was born.
So while I get that it's no excuse, I do get where her attitude and resentment toward her mother comes from.

I really like Maci and I feel bad because IMO its not Ryan that wants the time its his parents, I think he could care less, Hell she had to sue him for child support and now he wants joint rights, lmao any judge who agreed would be a nut case in my eyes.



My heart broke for little Leah at the end of the last one when she was all alone in her crib like that, AWWW I wanted to reach in scoop her up and just cuddle her she's so sweet, her parents need help BIG time!!



Catelyn and Tyler are a good match, and seem to be responsible, I agree with the other moms about her mother though what a bitch she needs to go to rehab to I think.



Farrah is starting to grow on me, Its sad sopiahs dad passed away but it still cant be an excuse for treating her mom that way.

I'm way behind on the episodes, but I love this show.

When I first started watching it, I was absolutely disgusted with Farrah. I thought she was a complete and utter brat, but after hearing about what happened to Sofia's dad, I kind of feel bad for her and sort of get why she sometimes acts the way she does.
No way am I saying this is a pass for her to behave like she does, but I think it kind of explains her mindset and why she does some of the things she does, especially with her parents.

Catelynn and Tyler I just adore and I hope they stay together.

Out of the moms that kept their children, Maci seems to be the most mature and level headed of them all.

Gary and Amber just need help... period.

The way I see Maci's situation is that it is just another 20 miles, legally or not, the necessity of going to court is bogus. Even if Maci's decisions are rushed to go to Nashville, she's not moving for NO reason. She has friends there, she has school there, she has her boyfriend there and she isn't so far away that it's not drivable.

She's lucky that Ryan didn't move across the country and demand that he gets the same rights.

She shouldn't have to be stuck in 1 place all her life just so Ryan can have more 'control' over her and Bentley. He can be understanding too and realize that it is ONLY an extra 20 miles, and it's not an extra 2000 miles. Maci does have Bentley's best interest at heart, as well as trying to be happy for herself too.... I really don't see anything wrong with that. And I don't see anything wrong with her being defensive and abrupt with Ryan for putting her in the position to feel bad for trying to be happy too.

I just love this show lol...I never miss it! :) I feel so sorry for little Leah. No 1 year old deserves to be screamed at like that. And having to watch Gary & Amber have their little immature fights while they yell in front of their daugther, just makes me so mad! It seems to me like you have to walk on egg shells around Amber, because if you don't talk to her in the "right" way, she'll jump down your throat. She treats Gary like crap & Gary keeps putting up with it. And Gary's not perfect himself, but I do think he treats Leah better than Amber does.

Farrah gets on my nerves. Yeah, she's doing better as a mom, but the way she talks back to her parents is unbelievable. My parents would never allow me to talk back to them like that.

Catelynn & Tyler did the right thing with putting Carly up for adoption. Their home life is a mess, I'm sorry to say.

I like Maci...she's a great mom & I hate that she has to put up with the custody situation that Ryan put her in. Honestly, it seems like it's Ryan's parents that want more time with Bentley than Ryan actually does.

I love the show but Gary and Amber should grow up. they annoy me. Farrah is getting a little better IMO. She is slowly realizing that she needs to grow up and that she made the choice to be on her own and she has to deal with it. She whines but I am getting to like her a little more. She's getting out of Lala land and seeing life for what it is.

Maci is a brave girl. I admire her strength and dedication to her son but I am questioning the move with her boyfriend... Ryan is annoying IMO. there is something about him that makes me want to slap him...

catelynn and tyler are strong and are working on their relationship which is fantastic. catelynn's mom has major issues and I personally think that her boyfriend is not the only one who has an addiction problem. She seem to me like she has one of her own. her attitude is just nasty. I definitely think that Catelynn should think about moving out of this house. It's not a stress she needs.

That couple has some serious issues. Amber is so freakin' caustic and immature. That one episode last season where she hit Gary, that was just plain wrong. That show is yet another perfect example of why people who are immature should NOT be having children.



And Catelynn's mother is a total and complete bitch. I cannot believe that Catelynn has turned out so level headed with a mother like that. I would be so ashamed of myself if I ever treated my daughter like that.

I hate catelynn and tyler. I wish they'd go away. I liked them on 16 and pregnant, but now they bore me. Their particular issues don't change.

Gary and amber, I love them when they get along. They're cute. We know they're going to break up every episode though. first season she kind of reminded me of me when I had the PPD issues. Now they're both kinda being asshats. I don't know what happened on the last episode, stupid real world marathon when we're supposed to get teen mom round 2. We watch wednesdays cause we go to bed early like old people ;)

Yes but while Nashville is only 20 miles further than she is legally allowed to move once the case is in court, I look at the fact that it is about 2 hours away from where Maci and Ryan both live now... That isn't just around the corner. Plus, maybe I'm wrong, but I get the impression that switching schools is more of an afterthought for Maci. It isn't that her school now doesn't have a good journalism program (as far as I am aware). It seems like the move is primarily for her boyfriend. Don't get me wrong, she deserves to be happy, but I think what is best for Bentley needs to come first...

What I don't understand about the whole Maci and Ryan thing..... if Nashville is only 120 miles away from where they live now... what's an extra 20 freakin miles. Her boyfriend is in Nashville, her journalism course is in Nashville. They both have a drivers license. They should both be able to get what they want, Maci can have more time to spend with Kyle and focus on school. Ryan can get more time with Bentley. I don't see the issue really. Sure it'd be difficult, but not impossible.

Really the only ones that I like are Catelynn and Tyler. Farrah seems to look for problems constantly and picks fights with her parents. Are her parents perfect? No, but I don't see what they did that was so horrible at the zoo. To flip out on them because their car breaks down is rediculous to me. You are all right that Amber really needs to grow up. I feel so bad for her daughter. Gary has alot of issues too it seems like, but I think most of the problems stem from her. I do think they would be better off if they just split up permanetly. Also, while I do like Maci, I disagree with her decision to move and take Bentley away from a father who is actually trying to spend time with his son. Kids need both parents whenever possible!

They profit off the pain of many people. Yelling while a 1 year old is present, is a judgment call of the lawyers and producers, etc.

I wish someone would or legally could step in and make them go to parenting classes though.

I understand that they are showing the reality of teen parents, but I think that they way they are treating Amber's little girl Leah is just going to far. The show should insist that she go to therapy if she wants to continue to be a teen mom. So sad that Mtv is willing to profit off the pain of a one year old.

Tyler is surprisingly mature. I was expecting him to be more whiney and immature, but he's a good kid.

Amber needs to pull her head out of her ass and grow the hell up. My god I wanted to boot her repeatedly. The morning when he got up to work and she closed the damn door so she could sleep, leaving their girl in her crib to scream. Are you kidding?! At the end of the last episode her friend was trying to get her to wake the hell up it seemed, hopefully she does. She is too immature to have a child if she doesn't start realizing she's part of the problem in their relationship too. Gary isn't much better but I do think he is the better parent.



I have a lot of admiration for Catelynn/Tyler. Their decision obviously did not come easy for them but they did it for the right reasons.



I feel for Maci. Her ex, Ryan, made the stupidest move he ever could have though by telling her about court. I wonder now if she's not moving just to spite him because of all that. She sure didn't seem to think as hard as she wanted to about the decision after finding out about that.



Farrah is another one that needs a boot or three. I just can not stand her. She whines about everything! It's all her mom's fault. Get over it!

I watched that episode last night and both Devon and I had the exact same reaction Tanya. I can't stand Amber. I can't stand Gary either, but he at least understands that their daughter is too young for "discipline" and that she doesn't need to be yelled at.





I have a lot of admiration for Catelynn and Tyler. Farrah is a strong girl but annoying :\ she picks fights with her parents on purpose. The way she got pissy with her parents because the car broke down, was just stupid. Maci is a smart girl and I hope that she gets to find a way to be happy.
