The other threads that annoy me to are the dead beat Dads- not all Dads are dead beat!
The other ones that really annoy me is when a mother refers to her childs father as a "sperm donor" I know of families created this way and that rubs them up the wrong way!
Definition of sperm donor+they go to a clinic make a donation (they are only reimbursed for their travel), and have no financial gain per say.

threads where the ppl posting judge what they assume to be correct. I created a thread looking for suggestions and support... and two ppl responded. 1 person was constructive and one was destructive and judgmental. BOY was that one "fun". Sometimes it isn't the posts that bother me.... its the responses. I understand things looking for support because that's what this site is for. BUT... the judgment can go in the box with if you have nothing nice to say.... then keep the parenting class comments to yourself.

Circumcision is by FAR the most annoying and most common annoying thread I can see. Nobody knows what the foreskin is FOR anymore?!!!

The posts that bother me the most are ones where the mom has a question about something but has already decided that she or her neighbour/mother/mailman/ etc. is right and if we don't agree than we are attacking her.

I also can't stand it when someone says "Has this horse been beaten to death?"
Cause really there are newbies all the time and we don't allow people to drag old posts into the present. We will delete any posts that are brought up from the distant and not so distant past.
So anyone new coming on wouldn't know that we had debated circ. or spanking last month. So to them it's not a dead horse but a stallion at the starting gate.

Or the ones who give so LITTLE information (such as just what is in the title) you have to ask "well, how old is your kid" or "well, where do you live, that would help", and they never bother to get back to you on that. So you can't help them anyway......

Something else I am sick of- not a specific thread, but fly-by-nighters. Moms who post, and then never follow up and give additional info, more details. Just up and disappear. Another one of those "wasting our time". There was a huge thread like that at Xmas time when a mom posted about her 16-17 year old daughter who wanted to spend Xmas with her boyfriend's family. The couple have been together for 2 years. There was a huge response to this thread, and the original poster commented maybe 3 times out of 200! Then never to be seen again!

The only threads at which I get truly irritated are the ones where a mother asks what she should do, but she already has her mind made up and is simply looking for validation. So she gets pissy when people give her advice that is contrary to her decision.

e.g. There was a thread on the welcome page recently where a mother talked about spanking her 13-month old, and asked if that was too young for spanking. The overwhelming response was "Yes, that is absolutely too young for spanking!" And all she did was give excuse after excuse, justifying her actions. So it was obvious that her question was insincere. She didn't give a sweet damn if anybody thought that 13 months old was too young for spanking. She just wanted all of us to pat her on the head and tell her that she was doing the right thing. And it irked me, because she was wasting our time.

threads that only exist to boost up bigoted moms (that would be threads like this.......... but they get irritating because most of those moms can't even try to see another side) those just exist to reassure a group of moms they are not the only ones who say something like (for example) screw poor people.

lol this is making me laugh so hard haha young mums saying dont judge me. im a young mum but im a nice one at that and i dont find i get judged i actually get compliments no one has ever said anything rude to me! my son is beautiful and im always dressed nicely and so is he. and if it does happen, get over it its gonna happen regardless because it really should have been planned better, i take all responsibility for that! also potty training, my son wont sleep, am i pregnant? ..

Yes, people get warnings before being kicked off. And having fake profiles is against the CoM guidelines. Depending on what you are doing with that profile, depends on whether you get booted off or not. But yes, there are some regulars who have been booted (for various reasons) and HAVE been known to come back with fake profiles. But it's no-one you would have known Shannin, they are from before your time :)
