Lol Christina that reminds me. Instead of sitting typical cross-legged on the floor I always sit with one let over top of the other, kinda like what you described (a variation of the lotus pose I guess lol). People always think I am weird.. I even sat like that when I was preg. I'm sitting like that right now actually :P

I thought everyone could read upside down, too. Interesting about foot typing.. I've heard of a couple people doing that, and driving with their feet.. But they were people that had either no arms or they just couldn't use their arms. Saw it on Ripley's.

I can put my legs behind my head as well, but not at once. I can curl my tongue. I can type on a regular keyboard with my toes ( a skill I learned in a very small apartment I had where my computer was on the couchside table and I used to lay down on the couch and chat on MSN by foot typing.. that way I could watch TV at the same time. I don't do that much anymore, i'm not set up for it. I can read upside down (I thought everyone could, but apparently not..)

Oh Wanda.. That's kind of creepy.. No offense.

I used to be able to put both my feet on top of my thighs, but since I had my son, my knees aren't as flexible and it hurts.. I can lay on my stomach, grab my ankles behind me (though I have to help my left arm, but that's a long story) and roll on my stomach like that. Something my mom told me about.. Said it was some exercise she used to do. It really does help strengthen your core b/c those are the muscles you use to roll, you don't use momentum.

And I STILL can't roll my R's after years of my oldest sister trying to teach me.. She puts me to shame.

[deleted account]

Let's see...

I can lay on my stomach, bend my knees, put the bottoms of my feet together, and lay my legs and feet all the way on the ground... My mom (who used to be a professional ballerina and was my dance teacher) says I have amazing turnout and it's the best she's EVER seen... It's weird...

I can wiggle my ears

ALL my fingers are double jointed and I can bend ANY joint on ANY finger in pretty much ANY direction I want... And I can do more than one at a time...

I can frown, and that means the whole lips turn down on either end and make an upsidedown u... which is actually not something a lot of people can do...

I can curl my tounge.

I can put my feet up on my thighs and walk around on my knees with my legs all up like that.

I can touch my nose with my tounge.

I can touch my forearm with my entire thumb.

Hmmm... I'll have to think to see if I can think of any more ;)

I can do that crazy Xena war yell so loudly that you can hear it 5 blocks away. One of these days I want to do it while in bed with my husband, just to startle the heck out of him.

And that's a lovely reminder to wash our hands after handling money. Not that I'm implying your hoo-ha isn't springtime fresh and clean enough to see my reflection in, Joanna, but there may be others who share your talent whose lady-hygiene may be lacking.

Jocelyn.. I can flare my nostrils OD too.. Unfortunately now, though, I seem to be able to wiggle my ears at the same time..

No, the cherry stem isn't a myth.. That's another one I can do.. But it takes me a minute. I can't do it quickly anymore.

i have talon toes as well! don't have much in the way of weird talent, or even talent in general...but, i don't have a knuckle on my right pinky, and its waaaay shorter than my other one, does that count?

Lol I can pic up small things from the floor with my toes (but not jeans lol), I can crack my toes just by curling them. I can pop my shoulder in and out (but only the right one) I can put one leg behind my head (it use to be two legs, but since babies I've lost a bit of my flexibility, but I can almost do the splits again! woot) ummm..... and I can flare my nostrils on demand lol

I USED to be able to put both my legs behind my head, but sadly lost the ability by the time it would have actually been useful.

Sigh...

And Laura, I can bend the tips of my fingers too.

I can keep my fingers straight but bend only the tips, I can wiggle my ears, I have talon toes, I cannot move my baby toes in circles (only my mom)

I can do the toe thing too, so can my husband. Sometimes when we are being silly we having pinching wars with them. :-P

I can still put both my legs behind my head like a pretzel, I used to be able to walk but the upper body strength is not what it used to be. . . . . .Or I have to carry more weight then I used to. Doh! :-P

That's all I can think of. . .

I wonder if toe talons are genetic. Like tongue curling.

I can bend my hands backwards to put my thumbs against my forearms. can NOT put thumbs on back of my hand... krista's a freak lol

I suck the insides out of pickles when I eat them and leave a pickle shell. Men seem to be fascinated by that one. ;x I just like the innards better.

I used to be able to crush a can with my shoulder blades. I saw it online with a friend and decided my ginormous creepy scapulas could totally do that, and they did. Not something I do often...

Really? People can't do the thumb thing Christina mentioned or spread their toes? =S I thought it was normal!

Ah well... I can do those. The top joint thing Carolee mentioned too.

Hmm now I wonder what else others can't do.

My fingers don't bend straight, when I hold them out full length they curve upwards. To get them to be straight when holding out my hand I have to bend my fingers back down at the middle joint.

I can crack my knees like people crack their knuckles. My ankles and wrists for that matter too. My shoulders sometimes do it on their own... I wonder if I'm falling apart? LOL!

I can sit with both feet on top of my thighs and even walk on my knees when they're crossed like this.

I'll have to think about this and see if there's anything else. I don't think so though.

I can fold my toes together (like you fold your fingers together), one thumb is longer than the other one (by quite a bit), I can bend just the top joint in all my fingers, and I used to be able to turn my feet backwards.

HA! Thanks, LaCi.. I take that as a compliment :) I can also wiggle my ears. Almost forgot about that one.. Haven't really done it since my dad passed away (he was the one that taught us how to do it. Not sure if that really has anything to do with why I haven't done it in so long..)

I don't have double jointed fingers.. That's so weird.. But I can bend my wrist forward and take my thumbs and press them all the way down on my forearm (not just the tip of my thumb.. the WHOLE thumb). Not sure if that's really weird, but it kind of freaks my family out.

Christina, you have creepy toes. I say that because my boyfriend also has creepy toes. He attacks me with them. Toe talons is what I call them. ;) I think my kid has the same talent/evil superpower. They'll make fun of me when he's older because I'm the one who can't pinch with my toes.

Pretty much everything I do is weird, or so I'm told, so I'll have to think about that one

I'll start. One thing is I can pinch things with my toes and hobble to the laundry room with it (especially useful when carrying a full load of laundry to the washer and a sock or shirt.. Even jeans, drop to the floor. I don't have to put the load down and pick it back up.. I just drag the laundry between my toes- it's gotta get washed anyway). And I can spread my toes really wide (big toe and index? toe are about an inch apart.. All others about 1/2 an inch apart).. Oh, and I can wiggle them around while they're spread like that.. And I just found out I can turn my pinky toes in circles w/o disturbing the other toes.. (Thanks to Laura Cook for that one :))
