I'm checking out Adele's new album 21. Rolling in the Deep is pretty good.

Well recently it has been a lot of the GazettE. Japanese band >.>;

Yes they have loud songs, but they also have nice ones. Winter thinks they are rubbish though so she likes to listen to Disney sound tracks lol.

Currently silence. But once I'm sure Michaela is asleep I'll be putting on Rolling in the Deep too (I'm addicted) and a little bit of Frazey Ford "Blue Streak Mama" and "Kandi" by One EskimO. They go together really well and get me in the mood ;-P

Sarah- I liked that one until I heard it 50 billion times lol. The radio plays it every other song here and it got really old. I still can't get 'Grenade' out of my head!!! Will it ever stop?!?!?! ; )

[deleted account]

Godsmack's whole discography,,, I've been listening to them for over ten years and their new album Oracle rocks! I also LOVE S&M by Rihanna and all of Bruno Mars' songs.

@Stephanie - The Bruno Mars song 'Grenade' has been stuck in my head too lol. Although, one of my current favorites is his other song "Just the Way You Are."

LaCi, I asked because when I worked in a music store in MN on the ND border, he was in the store promoting and no one knew him, but when I moved out to CA he became pretty big.

Right now I'm listening to the stupid hockey game that Brian is watching. But these are a couple of songs I've been really stuck on lately.

I don't listen to as much music as I use to, but I usually listen to the same type of music you will find in the top 40 when I do.

I'm currently obsessed with minnesota hip hop. Who would have thought the best rappers were in minnesota of all places?

The torrential downpour of serious wet season rain for the last 3 days straight! Or when I can actually hear the stereo over the rain, I agree Adele "21" is great, also Aloe Blacc "Good Things" is rocking my world.

My baby brother, 13 years my junior, gave me Neutral Milk Hotel's In an Aeroplane Over the Sea. It's hilarious because they are a 90's band and I missed them - my brother was a baby when the album came out. I learned a few covers on my guitar from it I loved it so much. Two-Headed Boy is one of my favourite songs now.

I'm also listening to Martha Wainwright's Edith Piaf album. It's really kind of brilliant.

Heheh Jodi I was going to say sweet silence.

But also the old miniseries Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. LOL

I'm not much of a music person. Only in the car.

We have a comedy radio station here that I like but I also listen to oldies, rock, alternative, classical, & country.

My current favorite songs:

"the suburbs" by Arcade Fire (thank god their new album is better than their last, though Funeral is still my favorite)
"Howl" by Florence and the Machine, though I love the entire album
"I hope your heart runs empty" and "Always" by Neverending White Lights
"Sittin On The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding (it's what I sing to my 4 month old when she gets upset and it calms her right down)

Right now, the beautiful, very rare sound of....silence. Blissful :D

[deleted account]

Our only country radio station. If the kids aren't watching a movie.... that's what I'm listening to all the time. I WOULD listen to some of my Chris Tomlin or Jeremy Hartshorn (both Christian artists) cds, but my cd player doesn't work anymore.
