Currently silence. But once I'm sure Michaela is asleep I'll be putting on Rolling in the Deep too (I'm addicted) and a little bit of Frazey Ford "Blue Streak Mama" and "Kandi" by One EskimO. They go together really well and get me in the mood ;-P

My baby brother, 13 years my junior, gave me Neutral Milk Hotel's In an Aeroplane Over the Sea. It's hilarious because they are a 90's band and I missed them - my brother was a baby when the album came out. I learned a few covers on my guitar from it I loved it so much. Two-Headed Boy is one of my favourite songs now.



I'm also listening to Martha Wainwright's Edith Piaf album. It's really kind of brilliant.

"the suburbs" by Arcade Fire (thank god their new album is better than their last, though Funeral is still my favorite)
"Howl" by Florence and the Machine, though I love the entire album
"I hope your heart runs empty" and "Always" by Neverending White Lights
"Sittin On The Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding (it's what I sing to my 4 month old when she gets upset and it calms her right down)

Our only country radio station. If the kids aren't watching a movie.... that's what I'm listening to all the time. I WOULD listen to some of my Chris Tomlin or Jeremy Hartshorn (both Christian artists) cds, but my cd player doesn't work anymore.
