I think in this boys particular case the use of marijuana has obviously been a huge help to him alongside eveything else that his mother does.
Being in a country that does NOT medicate for autism alone I am a little concerned. Some less motivated parents may see this as a quick fix solution.

That was awesome! I love the comedy in her story, shows that she is a really great mum, that just wants the best for her child.

I wonder if her or hubby have a cookie themselves?

What an amazing story :)
I would much rather go the pot route than heavily medicate with harsh drugs! I never would have thought about pot helping autism...

This is a great story. I feel that there are some great medical help that can be done with pot. But it has such a stigma and there has been great abuse of the pot stores in San Francisco that they were shut down. I had a co-worker that was oked to pick up med weed for a friend that had AIDs and she would go around to all of us stoniers (when I was one) and see what anyone wanted her to pick up. Their brownies were really good too. Just from my pot head days, I think there is great medical benefits for this but I can see that if its not done right, great abuse too. Before I totally gave it up. I was using it as a sleep aid in the end.
