Jada was born Dec. 31, 2003 & I guess now that shes a little older she's noticing that her sisters who have March & August bdays, that they have bigger parties & recieve more presents than her... Just recently she decided that she's gonna change her birthday so its not so close to christmas, & so its not on new yr's eve cuz everybody is so busy on her bday.... i don't know what to tell her other than she'll b happy with her bday when she's older because theres always a party to go to on ur bday... thats not good enough for her right now tho....

why not have her birthday after she goes back to school.Like the week=end after. It would celebrate the new year and her b-day. Be glad it's not on Christmas day like our gdaughters.

Our son's birthday is December 28th and we've always had his birthday/Christmas get together on the Saturday that follows Christmas. It's worked out well so far. However, this past year he wanted a kid's birthday party with his school friends so we had his party on January 3rd, the Sunday before school started again and it worked out perfectly. I think we'll probably do that again this year.
And I'm sure your daughter will really appreciate her birthday being on New Years Eve when she gets older!
