I've been reading some posts here and while I must say that I highly respect and appreciate that we moms are able to come here to vent, gain insight, etc ... I'm really sick of the mindset that we moms should just get over it. Aren't women asked to settle for so much more than we deserve on too many occasions?

Ok, we raise the kids by ourselves and someone says "just deal with it, stop complaining." We get passed over for promotions, get paid a lower salary to do the same thing that a guy does, and the answer is to just get over it. Whether we are sick or well, feel like it or not, hate the job or love it, we have to go to work and provide whether the father is in the picture or not and what's the reponse, "get over it, figure it out."

Yes, we all play a part in our situations. It does "take two" to make a child. Why is it that society seems to accept that fact that fathers are going to be deadbeats? I can understand that constant complaining about a situation is not going to change it, however, I do believe that we are entitled to be tired and just plain darn fed up sometimes.
