Hi Moms,

Do any of you mom that have your kids on a dairy free or GFCF free diets have any suggestions for milk alternatives? We have tried the Silk brand almond milk in both the chocolate & vanilla and Aubrie will only take a few sips. Just thought I would ask and maybe not waste $$$ on trial & error.

Thanks

Michelle

I used Rice Milk and it was fine, not as a sole source of nutrition. It doesnt taste very good though! Try adding vanilla.

Appaently you're not supposed to give children younger than 5 rice milk anymore as it's not as good and allergies and bactria or something :) xx

My Boy is Lactose intolerant. I added milkshake mix to soya milk, and now Alpro Soya do a 1yr+ carton of long life, sweetned soya milk. But any sweetned calcium enriched Soya milk. My boy will drink any but not the semi skimmed or the non sweetend cuz they won't trust me lol. They do do milkshakes already made from Alpro soya or soya milk too. :) x

my daughter is allergic to milk so we have had to try alot of different things for her she has aslways liked soy milk but we have been trying to get her off of it and start a more healthy alternative for her. soy milk is so high in fat even more then cows milk. we have been trying out almond milk but shes not really a big fan of it so we tried giving her rice milk and its a big hit and also very light.
