Hi everyone!

Just thought it would be nice to see what everyone has planned for their little one's 2nd birthdays since they're all coming up now :o)

My little boy is having a train party at our local narrow guage railway, but since it's out of the season they won't run the proper train, just the 7 1/4" guage one which is fair more entertaining for little ones in my opinion! I - being a glutton for punishment - have agreed to bake him a Thomas the Tank Engine cake for it though ... wish me luck!!! lol

Happy birthday to all the little ones celebrating their 2nd birthdays this month on the December 2007 community!! :oD

We're doing Lee's 2nd birthday party at home with a Mickey mouse clubhouse theme this Saturday. It's been so hard to plan this one because the kids that are coming range from 5 to 9 months old. At the moment, we're having the kids play in the playroom while the adults are mingling in the living/dining room. I'm thinking of having a decorate your own Mickey sugar cookies & for favors, I'm giving a child a Mickey mouse who's birthday is it book. We're still debating on food which is bugging me. Wish me luck on Saturday.

Hi-Happy 2nd birthday to all December babies!!!! I am going to have a ni hao kilan party-ava loves her! I havent gone out shopping for it yet so i hope i can find some ni hao kilan themed things lol (if anyone has any suggestions of where to get stuff like that please let me know!!) I have invited family over to my house to enjoy raspberry filled cupcakes and snacks. We have a big bounce house so the kids can have fun w that as well as the pinata I am going to get! its hard at this age b/c they really are young yet. I hope everyone has fun on their special day!!! and good luck to all you mommies!!!

If you need ideas go to the nickjr site. They don't sell party supplies, but what we're doing is just buying plain plates and stuff in Wonder Pet colors. I'm also making a wonder pet themed cake and cupcakes. They have kai-lan cupcakes too if you wanted to deocrate the cupcakes you're making. Otherwise you'll probably just have to order online.

My Savannah (Carla, glad to see I'm not the only one with a Savannah) is having a Wonder Pets party. I'm trying to keep her themes gender neutral so that I don't offend little boys with a lot of pink and purple lol. We're having the party at home this Saturday and are expecting at least 30 people (probably a little more). I'm making the Fly Boat cake and Cupcakes with the characters. As for food we haven't decided whether we're doing pizza or sandwiches. We may just ask Savannah lol. I don't have any games played. The kids can play in the play room or outside on Savannah's new slide. Since today is her birthday we are making her feel extra special and getting her super excited for her party and Christmas.

We did Justin's party this past weekend since I'm due 4 days before his birthday. We had friends over to the house. It was a Mickey Mouse themed party. The kids played in the playroom and the adults mingled. It was perfect! I made a cake with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse figurines on it. My parents drove 5 hours to surprise us. It was a perfect day!! I can't believe he's about to be 2!!!!

We're doing the party at an indoor playground that my daughter likes to go to. Its difficult at this age since each kid will be bringing at least one parent so we needed a larger venue. There are 15 kids coming and about 20 adults, she picked out a Winnie the Pooh cake and we'll have pizza delivered. I'm also doing string pinatas(instead of hitting with a stick there are 8 strings on each and each kid pulls one with only one opening the pinata) to get rid of the last of the Halloween candy :)
