Are you guys having a hard time with your babies? My daughter is afraid to sit on her potty chair! She will play with it and put her babies on it, but freaks out when I ask her if she wants to sit on it!

i think they will when there ready, i got a potty when my lil girl was 1 and a half but she didnt want to sit on it, but about two months before she turned two she started saying 'no nappies mummy' and after only a week she stared only going on the potty even at night.! she is now 2 and 2months and has been using the potty or toilet for 4months now and she did it pretty much by herself because she wanted to....

i am having the SAME problem! my daughter hates the potty although she loves to play with it, i got her a little potty that sings to her when she goes in it, and one for the bigger potty but nothing! i started keeping M&M's in a cup on the counter and everytime she went potty i would give her 1 or 2 of them and if she went stinky then she gets to pick them out herself. also, i would take my daughter into the potty room for story time, and we would learn colors and point out objects in books while she sat on the potty to keep her occupied for longer periods of time......let me know if any of this works :)

My daughter was the same way.she would play with it but not wanna sit on it and potty. So we built her a step to the big potty and now she will go and yell through the house I went potty. Then she gets a sticker and a treat. Seems like it took forever to get her to this stage but the extra effort does pay off. Just have patience thats all you can do..

hi,

actually mine is pretty happy to use the potty chair..she asks when she wants to poo poo but still pee in her training panties.. she has an older sister and follows her everytie she goes in the bathroom.. I guess it helps. Also, I go with her, sit on the toilet and simulate that I'm peeing..it,s funny to her..
