My son was born Dec. 13,2007. He is 22 months old and people are asking me if he is potty trained yet!! I find this crazy seeins as my older son was closer to 3 1/2 by the time he was. Anyone attempting this or having luck??

My daughter has been training since 18 months. The most she went on the potty is 1 BM and 2 pee-pee and told me the other times that she peed in her pull up. It's all about when your child is ready, but a lot of moms are starting earlier whether their child is ready or not. If he's not interested in the potty don't make him be. I just let the potty chair stay in the bathroom until she was ready to sit on it and saw what mommy did in it. Now I get a play-by-play every time I go to the bathroom lol. He'll get interested when he's ready.

He will let you know when he is ready, my first son was 2yr and potty trained, my second is 22months and training. they both started on their own, one day they just went to the toilet and said sit, so we did,

Hi best friend I would say when Chace is ready you'll know Jake wanted to do it at 2 so I let him but I don't see Noah wanting to anytime soon. As long as he's potty trained by 3 1/2 I think you are find. But Jake really likes that Potty time elmo DVD you got him after that he wanted to go like Elmo. Just let him do it on him own time don't listen to other people. put a potty seat in the bath room. we never really used ours but he liked to sit on it. I think I might start talking to Noah at 2 about it but if he doesn't want to do it you can't make them. :) love you!!!
