What worked better for your kids: potty seats or potty chairs?

We have a 2 yr old daughter and have introduced the potty seat to her (around 18 months) but haven't started the training per say, we just wanted her to start getting used to the seat before officially potty training. We are going to start potty training soon and wondered what kind of seat worked best for your kids? My daughter doesn't really like sitting on the potty seat that we have in her bathroom, I was trying to decide on whether I should get another potty seat or a potty chair for the downstairs bathroom. What would be easier for her to learn in? The potty seat is more like a real toilet but the potty chair is just her size. Any advice?

When my kids were little, we used a potty chair because it was easier for them to reach and I didn't have to worry about stepstools. But after a while, I got really tired of dumping it. We actually use both. We have the little potty which my daughter is a lot more comfortable with. She gets scared of the big potty sometimes so the little potty helped her get used to going on the potty daily. We use the potty seat on the big potty when she wants to go on the big potty. There are times she chooses the big potty over the little potty. I also just bought one of those foldable potty seats for when we are not at home because she doesn't like me holding her over the potty when she asks to go and it's also much more sanitary. We haven't used it outside of the house yet, but she was very excited to use it at home today.
