Does anyone have any advice on how to stop my 4 month old waking every 3 hours during the night. He is formula fed and I have started solids. He is still sleeping in his cot in my bedroom. ANY HINTS????

Thanks Amanda, I think I will try putting him in his own room. :)

Mine does the same thing. We only have one room, though, so I can't move him out. If I'm really tired then I let him sleep with me. It's easy because I'm breastfeeding and I don't really have to wake up to feed him.

I am in the same situation although sometimes it is every two hours. I have just started Aimee on baby rice and I am hoping this helps a little. I think I will give it another week and then try Aimee in her own room if nothing improves thanks Amanda

my son is a week shy of 5 months; he still wakes once or twice a night.i put him down around 8pm so when he wakes at 3 or 4 i have to keep in mind it has been 8 hrs. my first advice would be to get him in his own room. it may be hard for you, but trust me- it is sooo much better! i moved my son into his room when he was almost 3months and we both have slept beautifully! when he wakes is he crying? or is he only talking? it may be waking you because you are in the same room.. secondly- i would try putting him to bed a little later every night for a week or so, and then back to the normal time. also, try to get him back to sleep without feeding him. a few nights of this and he should be on track =) this is all assuming he isn't in a growth spurt or teething.
