ok i was just wondering if i am the only parent that had to have this. when i took my baby to the doc today for her 9 mo check up i had to take my baby to the hospital to get blood work done. its just the standard lead and hemoglobin was what i was told. i thought it was a prick on the foot but when i got there it was a blood draw for to lil viles of blood. very tramatizing for me and her!! i was wondering if anyone else had to have blood drawn for hemoglobin and lead tests?

ya see we didn't have any shots just the blood draw and thats it she doesn't get any more vaccines til 12 months.

i just had my son's 9 month checkup yesterday and we just had a normaly checkup visit, needles and thats it... no blood drawing for us! That is wierd i've never heard of that ( i'd be upset too!)

We had our 9 month check-up last week and didn't have any blood drawn. It was just a "normal" visit for us. Wow- I think I would have been traumatized too....
