My son was born Dec. 27. He can roll from back to front, but often times gets stuck and cries for help getting back over. He doesn't seem very interested in crawling, but he loves to stand -- he'll grab my fingers, pull himself up to sitting, and then spring up to standing, where he stubbornly stays. We just tried oatmeal last week, which had him perplexed. I think we'll try again next week. No teeth yet, but he fusses sometimes like he might be teething. He loves to smile and giggle, and he talks a lot, mostly "ga" sounds.

My daughter was born on dec 31st. She's eating solids now. SHe can roll from one end of the room the the other.. Can't leave her alone for 1 minute! She cries when she doesn't see me and laugh at herself when she looks in the mirror! So funny too watch her expresion in the mirror! She gives big wet kisses with her mouth wide open! Lol.. She can sit, but not for long, she always fall to her sides (But I always catch her) She also can stand with little help and make tiny footsteps.( I hold her fingers and push one leg and she moves the other.. so fun to do!) Can't wait for her to start crawling!

My son mathew was born on the 18th of Dec. He still cant roll from back to front but sits up really well on his own for about a min. He is just over 20lbs and recently started solids.

He loves to grab us by our hair and ears and bite us (baby attacks!! lol)

My son Lucas was born Dec 17th, he can roll both ways, and does it all the time. He can creep on his belly, and is trying very hard to crawl ( does not get it yet). He can sit up without support for a few minutes. he makes all kinds of sounds now, and has discovered how to blow spit bubbles, which is really funny. He has been eating solids since 4 months, and he loves it. He weighs about 19lbs now, and about 30inches.

My daughter was born on Dec. 11th and she just loves her solid food! She is rolling all around and is able to sit up unassisted for a very long time. She is trying to figure out how to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out yet. Every so often she'll scoot around on her belly. She's been blowing raspberries for a while now and is cutting her first teeth. I can see three on the bottom which has made our nights interesting lately.

My daughter was born on December 21. She is also sticking anything she can get her hands on into her mouth. She can roll tummy to back and can sit up for short periods of time. She said her first word (dada) a couple of weeks ago but hasnt repeated it since. She loves blowing rasberries and is currently making a sound that vaguely sounds like someone swinging a cat! :) She has also connected crying to getting attention this last week which has been interesting...

My son was born Dec 3rd. He is sitting up for about 10 minutes and is creeping on his belly almost getting up on his hands and knees to crawl. He has been rolling over for a while now. He is 17 lbs 14 oz and 28 in long! He is tall and a little chubby but not bad... He tries mimics me and singing when his father or I sing to him. He says "dadadada" a lot, but doesn't really say anything but simple sounds!

Hey Bronwyn :-)

My daughter is on soilds, she loves her food. She puts her arms up to be picked up, cries when i leave her, will throw her toys on the floor so that i will keep picking them up, will bang her table for attention, rolls both ways and can put her knees up ready to crawl and will stay there but hasn't yet worked out how to put her knees up and her arms at same time haha. We have to watch her like a hawk, she uses rolling to get where she wants haha. She's just started blowing raspberries :-) all the time!!! It's definately her new thing! She squeals and laughs alot!!! And she has just started makin some new sounds, i could have swore i heard her say ma yesterday! Of course she's not yet aware of what she's saying and that i'm mama but that will come with time. Its nice to hear from others :-) how was the labour??? I can't believe you had your daughter just the day after me (", ) xxxx congrats on your beautiful new daughter!xx

Hi Natasha,

My 1st baby Izabella Justice was born on the 31st of December. At the moment she is grabbing and mouthing all that is in her reach, she is rolling from tummy to back and trying back to tummy. She is getting much stronger at sitting while aided and can sit unassisted for nearly a minute now. She vocalises alot, squealing is her new thing and she is experimenting with her volume. How about you?
