Hi, we've been blessed with a beautiful son and are now TTC for baby number 2! Ideally it would be great if we'd have a girl (although the most important thing is that the baby is healthy! off course) Does anyone know or did you try any techniques that seemed to work for you? I've heard, that having intercourse at a certain time of the month increase you chances of having a girl.

What Amy said about boy and girl sperm is right. If you know when you are going to ovulate, have sex the 2-3 days before you ovulate, but definitely not the day of. By the time your egg comes around, the boy sperm should have died off and all there is left is the girls!! I have 1 girl and another girl on the way, and we definitely didn't have sex the day of ovulation. Good luck!!

Hi, I have heard that using a douche kills off boy sperm as it changes your pH. Also trying to eat tonnes of dairy and having sex once 20 hours after you ovulate. Or you can have sex everyday from your period ending, as girl sperm live longer so you increase the ratio of boy to girl sperm. Little girls are a lot of fun! Good luck with your endeavours.

I was told that boy sperm swims faster and to have intercourse right when you are ovulating and that girl sperm is slower, but has more endurance and to have sex a day or so before ovulating. I was also told that different positions can increase your chances of a boy or a girl. I know when I conceived each of my children and what I was told about the positions was correct for mine. It is a little TMI, but if you would like to know about the positions, let me know and I will tell you

ya i did the chinese calendar for my first i wanted a girl and that's what i got i'm gonna do the same thing for baby number 2. i would like to have a boy next. It really does work so many women i know did this!!!!

most girls come by surprise... I wasn't trying and my 2nd was a girl. My 1st was a boy and we tried... so who knows you can check out a website called chinagold.com
