I've read about all your Dec. babies and what they are up to. Just wondering if mine is the only one not crawling or rolling from back to belly yet? She is sitting up, standing assisted, rolling from belly to back and babbling. Compared to your Dec. babies, I feel as though she is behind.

My Dec 4th daughter is not crawling yet either. She is standing with help & starting to move her feet to walk. Once she gets her balance she will be walking. She isn't even trying to crawl. My older daughter didn't crawl until almost 9 months & was walking at 10 1/2 months. Don't worry as long as she is progressing towards something.

My Peyton is not crawling either....or sitting by herself! All babies are different and do things on their own time you know? All three of my kids have hit different milestones at different ages.

My daughter is doing verything your baby is doing. And she's not crawling yet either. I'm not worried, she will get it when she's ready. I'd be fine if she skipped crawling and went straight to walking. Every baby is different, they have guidelines but they don't apply to every baby. Just like big people, little people are unique in everyway. Be patient it will happen.

My son is not "crawling" but he army scoots aross the room he can get anything he wants by doing that. Kaiden can roll both ways and that it what he would rather do. He is only sitting unassiisted for maybe a minute at a time then he lays down and rolls or scoots for whatever he wants

my baby was dec. 10th hes just now about to crawl but hasnt yet. my doc said about 8 to 9 mo. He wont even hold his own bottle yet, and is just now sitting up without support for a lil while. all babies do things at different times...my 3 yr old was walking at 8 mo. but all babies are different, shes just fine :)

my son will sometimes scoot on his forhead but he has figured out that he can just roll to get where he wants all babies do things in there own time no baby is really behind

don't worry my twin girls aren't crawling yet but close to it... they are rolling front to back and belly they haven't started sitting by them self yet but are talking up a strom and they were born one month early they came dec 17 08 they were due jan 15 09 baby a weighed at 4lbs 14 oz and baby b weighed 4 lbs 12 oz.

my son just started crawling yesterday and he was born dec 23! He also started sitting up on his own yesterday!He woke up and just went lol!So give it alittle more time!Some babies cant not crawl up till alomost 10 months n they walk before they sit up!i think every baby is just different!

Hi Natalie. I was having the same thoughts about my son, but apparently he and DD are doing the same things. I think alot of my son's not crawling is because I wasn't putting him down on the floor enough. For the past couple of weeks, I've been doing that more often and he is up on his knees and scooting a bit. He has also found his on way of moving on the floor. I wouldn't call it a crawl...he has one knee on the floor and pushes off with the opposite foot on the floor.

Hello! Don't worry at all about this. My little guy is not crawling yet either (oh yeah, and no teeth eihter- my first had teeth at 4 months!). All babies arrive to the milestones at their own pace. Just remember this time fondly when she is crawling! ;-)

my daughter can sit up un aided, roll onto her back then on to her front. but she crawls forward once then gets frustrated so i'm sure your baby will crawl soon,as i'm still waiting for my daughter to crawl properly. she was born 29th dec

Dont worry all babies develope at different rates. MY little girl, Brooklynn, was born on the 29th and she has been sitting up all by herself for about a month now, and will stand if she can hold on to something. she can roll over but perfers not too. She scoots around on her back. When she is on her belly she doesnt try to crawl at all. Sont worry they will do it eventually.

Max isn't crawling yet either. He was born Dec 19th. He wasn't rolling over til he was about 6 months either. He also only rolls everynow and then. He HATES being on his belly when he's awake. But that's how he sleeps....go figure. All babies go thru mile stones at different times. U can always ask your ped. if your concerned.

My daughter Aaralyn has yet to crawl as well!! She can push herself up on her arms, but can't get the knees up under herself yet!! It will happen eventually!! She rolls around to get where she wants to go!! I have a feeling she might walk before she crawls as she will walk assisted right now. I'm not worried about it though, it will happen when she's ready!

your baby is not behind.. each child develops at there own pace.. my little guy was born on dec 18th and he isnot crowling yet eaither . he can roll all over the place but doesn't seem interested in crawling yet but her will in his own time... i worked in a day care for a long time and all the parents would compaire there children to the other around the same age but age has nothing to do with it ,, it readness. when there ready they will do.

yes every baby develops at there own rate. And i agree i dont like it when people boast about what there babies can do! umm my little girl was born dec 17th and shes not crawling on her hands and knees but she moves around with her arms and pushing against her feet. I think she will be crawling soon tho she gets on her knees and then falls back down. your baby is not behind at all...they will crawl when they are ready.

My baby was born on the 26th and he lunges to the things he wants. He only crawls by accident but one thing the may help is sitting her favorite toy some distance away from her and one day she will either lunge for it or crawl to it...I thought this would make my son crawl but he started lunging instead....like the others have said previously though, it will happen in due time. Dont rush it!!!

I was really worried my son was going to get behind because of his heart surgery (he couldn't lay on his chest until about a month ago) but I listened to the doctors and trusted they were right when they said every baby does things in their own time and in their own way. He is now rolling very well and almost crawling, babbling nonstop and has two teeth in with two more not far behind; but he can not sit up even assisted and his head is still wobbly. So every baby may be behind or ahead of another, but as long as they are progressing, I am completely happy! Hope this helps!!

my son was born on 12/14... doesn't crawl yet.. but pushes himself backwards... he rolls all over the place... i try to give him some tummy time daily... and some time on his back... and let him try to roll over and that is how he started... also.. he can't sit unsupported yet... my oldest son went straight to walking.... he barely crawled... he started walking the week of his 1st birthday...
every kid is different... don't stress out too much about him not doing some of the same things that other kids are doing... good luck!

Natalie,my Toby is rollin around,sittin up,clappin his hands,pullin himself along on his belly but NOT what id call crawlin. Not every baby crawls so dnt woory :)

Hi! My little girl is doing all of the above except crawling...she will get up on her hands and knees but then refuses to move....she just starts crying! So nope your not the only one with a non crawling baby!

No way, My wee boy just loves loves oves to sit, and i am very happy with that as it means i havent had to baby proof the house yet! Just enjoy every minute as they will soon we walking talking and everything.

no hun my baby was born christmas day n he isnt crawling or sittin on his own. he is learning to sit unassisted buh hasnt got it down yet and on his belly can turn in circles but thats as far as he gets, he rolls buh dosent crawl.

My little boy isn't crawling yet. He does roll both ways, babble and mostly sits up, but no crawling, scooting or worming. Basically, he lies on his back the floor and rotates his body around is huge mellon -- lol. Or props himself up on his arms and watches his sister run around. Nothing to worry about.

No hun, my boy's not either. He's only rolled once or twice and only just mastered sitting up this week (born 11/12).... my daughter was crawling all over the place by this age but they all meet their milestones at different ages and all eventually get there :)

My baby (who was born at the end of Dec), isn't crawling yet either. I don't think he's behind. He does everything else just hasn't gotten that part yet. And he acts like he wants to but he just wiggles around. So once your daughter gets the coordination down she'll be moving around quick. Don't be discouraged. In her own time...she'll get it down.

My son was born 12-12-08. He's not crawling either.. not the conventional way anyway. He does do a mean army crawl though!!! Um.. I will say though that I may be hindering him in that area. I live on a tropical island and roaches are pretty prevelent (sp) here. So, I'm scared to let him roam around on the floor. I feel bad, but with a hubby in the military and three other munchkins, I just don't feel like I have the time to monitor him close enough for me to be comfortable with him on the floor. Stupid bugs.... >_

my son was born on the 4th dec and and has just started crawling a few weeks a go. and there is no stoping just be greatful that your babies isnt on the move at the moment. i have found him in bathroom when i am sure that the door was shut .. my friends child didnt start crawling to about 10 mths so i wouldnt worry they all do things at diffrent paces . my daughther who is 5 now never crawled she just bum shuffled abround the place then at 9.5 mths she got up behind her push along bike and sharted walking .... so i wouldnt worry to much

Hello all! My Hannah Mae was born on 12/27. 5 days late!!! she just didnt want to come! She can sit unassited and hasnt gotten any teeth in yet. Shes had plenty of proplems with cows milk protien and is on a special formula and i have to watch what i give her. we also think she has problems with acid reflux. Hannah refuses to lay on her belly for more than a minute or so.She screams bloody murder and usually ends up spitting up. She loves to stand up and bounce so i think shes going to be walking before she crawls or even rolls over.

Hi I'm Dixie and my 2nd child (Austin) was born Dec. 18 and was 10lbs. 4oz Well he just turned 7 months and a couple weeks ago he started crawling & got his 1st tooth. He seems to be advanced, I think because of his age & size maybe. I don't think there is anything wrong with yours. I would love to stay in touch.

She isn't behind at all!! She'll do everything when SHE is ready. My son Keegan still has issues rolling from back to belly, it's definitely a task for him! He isn't crawling yet....but he gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth. He gets how to move his legs, his arms just need to catch up! So don't worry, she will do it when SHE is ready. She's just taking the scenic route :)

Don't worry. My 6 month old is not crawling. My first children didn't crawl until they were 9 months. Just be happy you don't have to baby proof yet.

my son was bron 12/8 and he just started crawling last week! it's more of an army style crawl haha... and my neice is a month older then my son and she's been crawling for 2 1/2 months... so they all do things at there own pace! Don't worry!! :)

mine, neither. I put him on a blanket on the floor with toys ahead of him so he'll want to move forward. He simply grasped the blanket, pulled it (and the toys) to him. I can't win! :)

My daughter was born on December 25, and isn't crawling yet, but is getting close. She's up on her hands and knees rocking, so maybe soon. She has been doing that for about 2 weeks now.

My lil one was born early December and is not crawling. She CAN roll, but I've only seen her do it once each way. She can sit unassisted though. I know what you mean, I sometimes feel as though she is behind other of her age, but I don't really mind, I guess they do things at their own pace and it's not as if she isn't making any progress at all.

your baby is not behind at all. mine is crawling and standing and she is 6 almost 7 months but my friends baby is 10 months and she said he just started crawling.
