I've been told not to give my almost 7 month old son any milk until he's a year old. He's breastfed. But what about other milk products such as yogurt, cheese or ice cream?

OMG, I just asked the same thing a little while ago! Someone directed me to wholesomebabyfood.com and from what I read there yogurt and cheese are ok at 7-8 months because the milk protein is broken down and it's easier to digest than milk. Stoneyfield Farm or whatever it's called makes a whole milk yogurt for babies 6 months and up. I might try that for my son. I don't know about ice cream, I didn't see any info on that. But I've given my son bites of ice cream and it didn't bother him. I was also wondering about like soy ice cream. But if they can have yogurt, I assume frozen yogurt is ok too. Just gotta watch out for sugar!
