Milk problems!

My son Jax is on regular milk but he will only drink it out of a bottle! We have tried everything... I've spent way to much money on sippy cups, warmed his milk, iced his milk, given it to him out of my cup, even gave him chocolate milk. He has "his" sippy cups (the ones he likes for juice, water, etc.) but if he even sees that it's milk, the little booger shakes his head and hands it back! We try to give him yogurt to try to supplement because I know he needs the nutrition, but every thing I read tells me he needs 16-20 oz of milk per day (at least!) and I want him off of his bottles but it seams that is the only way he will drink it... any advice?

My daughter was the same in the beginning of her weaning process. She eventually she had to learn to only use the sippy. At first she would cry and scream and throw the sippy at me or on the floor, but eventually they will get the idea.

I would say ( and this is just my opinion) take the bottle away and keep offering him the sippy cup at all times of the day. Always have it in front of him. I promise you when he is thirsty he will have no choice but to drink from the sippy. When you ever catch him drinking from the sippy clap your hands and praise him " yaaay!!" "good job"!! Stick to your guns and don't give in and give him the bottle and i think he will eventually take it. Good luck!
