I have noticed my now 6 month old son is getting whingier quicker. I am not sure if he is tired or just sick off the same environment. We go out almost every day now whether it's visit a friend or a walk in the park to take up the time. I think we would both go crazy staying in every day.

I don't know if it's something I have created but always 'entertaining him' or if it's just the age he is going through, or if he is just tired!

He sleeps through 11 to 12 hours a night and then two sleeps through the day so he is getting his 14 1/2 hrs sleep.

If it's just a stage that's fine but want to encourage him to spend sometime without me always next to him as well (which he used to be fine for periods of time).

What does everyone else think (hope I have made sense!)?

I am not sure. This is the typical age that children in childcare centers can start feeling seperation anxiety. So, if he is home with you maybe he feels the seperation anxiety when you walk away from him because he is very used to you being right there. It doesn't hurt a child to fuss, because that is how they learn to self-soothe. It kills me to hear my children cry, but I let them sometimes because they do self-soothe very well. There is a difference between fussing and crying because they need something, so you will just have to figure out the difference in his cries! Good Luck!
