Hello, my daughter is turning 2 on the 29th of December. I want to start planning early this year so I'm not scrambling around when the holidays are here. Does anyone have a suggestion for a birthday theme? My daughter is into maybe 3 shows that she likes but none more than another it seems. She gets equally excited for all..LOL! I was just curious if anyone else had ideas or suggestions? Thank you!

My daughter really loves The Backyardigans. I don't see a ton of stuff for them though other than dvd's and they had a set of Beanie Babies out. Last year we just got her her own little cake that had a rainbow on it and the rest of us had our own cake. I think this year we might just pick one color and run with it. I think we will save the cake for the Backyardigans and put a picture of them on it.

That is usually how my b-days went. I might have like soccer ball balloons and then just have like green plates and napkins and stuff.

We are doing Tea for Two since it is mostly going to be adults. I was able to find garden decorative teacups and saucers on clearance for 39 cents as favors and teapot/teacup napkins for 99 cents on-line.So it won't be too expensive and we are of course planning on serving tea and fancy sandwiches and pastries with the cake.

We're hiring an animal farm to go into the backyard. So we are having farm animals as a theme for the party. I am working on invitations at the moment. :)

Show theme parties are EXPENSIVE!!
Have a bollone party you can pick up all kinds of different colored everything and if you start now you can hit clearence for your cups and plates and stuff..
most places you can rent a helium tank for reasonable and get like a million balloones how could a two year old not love it haha!! and If there is a favorite character you can incorporate it in the cake with a topper or a few small neat toys and still have your theme

We are doing LIttle Einstein's. My son loves that show, and Elmo. You could just do a color theme. Like pink and purple or whatever she likes.
